can't see anything on notubes about a freehub body as a spare so assumed it might be a third party freehub spare.

I've just got an Outwell Montana 6. The outwell tents have the capacity to be expanded with awnings/canopies.

Have a look on ukcampsite.co.uk free adverts for a second hand tent.

So the consensus is that OEM and retail products are mostly the same with a few exceptions.

I did this last year to an old peugeot which had been hanging up in my dads garage.

There are some photos on flickr.

VeloSolo and lfgss were incredibly useful as was the sheldon brown site.

Mine had semi horizontal dropouts which were perfect. I put a fixed cog on the back and used threadlock to stop it unscrewing. Not had any probs yet. A bmx freewheel should be fine too.

I did have to redish the wheel to accommodate the new chainline. Not as hard as it sounds. If you do it one spoke at a time. tighten spoke one half turn, loosen the next one half turn and repeat round the rim to pull the it over.

I learned a lot during the process.

Care to add your thoughts on why you don't need a task killer?

scholarsgate

For most people, I think task killers are about saving battery not memory.

I'm still undecided. I've yet to see any compelling evidence either way.

what about savoury flapjacks?

1 egg
25g butter
75g grated cheese plus extra for topping.
70g porridge oats
pinch of salt

Melt butter. Mix rest of stuff in. Press into 8" tin. Grate cheese on top. 30 to 40 mins @ 180C.

Here's a couple of links to comparisons.

Nothing scientific but may be interesting nonetheless.

itunes is not native to linux you'd need an emulator like wine. I'm just wondering if it's painless or just a load of hassle?

postierich,

That's exactly the same bike as my little girls. She's about the same age too.

My three year old daughter has just learned to ride a pedal bike. The advice I was given from Islabikes was gently support you child under the arms and allow them to wobble where ever they want without actually letting them fall. Allowing them to wobble teaches them to steer to gain their balance. It worked for mine.

Stu,

am I right in thinking that it's not quite finished. The bit from the back of the golf course driving range through the dips is a bit out of place given the quality of the other stuff and I did see some woodwork on the left.

As the OP of the tendosis thread I can concur with Algore. I went to my physio this morning and he prescribed more eccentric exercises (heel raising and lowering).

The good news is he said I could still ride.

I've had it about a month. I saw a physio within the first week. initially it was thought to be para tendonitis (localised swelling) which settled down quite quickly. But with the tenderness lasting longer than anticipated it was deemed to be tendinosis.

The tendons are still tender to palpate after a month of Ibuprofen and ice.

The physio has prescribed the eccentric exercises as you have suggested.

All this because I raised my saddle to much.
