    DaveRambo,

How do manage to put a montana 6 up yourself?

I have a montana 6 and you’re right, whilst it is an excellent tent with acres of space, it is a two person job to put it up.

I recommend having a look over on ukcampsites[/url] for reviews. You could also check the classified on the same for a bargain tent.

Lezyne is expensive. Is it really worth the cost of 3 basic mini pumps?

The Desire HD come with android 2.2 as standard. Task killers effectiveness has significantly been reduced with enhancements to the os. Aside from the fact that the task killer is always running monitoring your system looking for things to close (and using your battery) killing process can have negative effects on the applications killed. Android 2.2 knows how to deal with low memory, rogue processes and will do so in a manner which will allow them to be restarted properly.

One of the apps I installed which improved my battery was timerrific. Effectively a profile manager that changes bluetooth, wifi, screen brightness, airplane mode based on time of day.

I think it depends on when you go. Early morning most of the slop is still frozen, mid afternoon it’s like wet concrete, hard work even going down hill.

Is it worth 2 hours? probably not.

    Cheers for that.

I’ll check out the travel with the air out.

PeterPoddy, your other google doc on poploc would contain the necessary info for the MoCo removal? What oil should I put in the MoCo?

I’ll let know know how it goes…

Travel is the same locked and unlocked. I don’t have a remote lockout attached. I’ve fiddled with the lockout and gate to no avail.

What you suggest as a course of action?

Was that part of your instructions? If not how do I do that?

Initially I thought it was because I hadn’t put enough oil in the bottom of the legs (step 15) but had them apart again and it’s ok.

Dropbox doesn’t require recipients to have a Dropbox account.

You just put them in your public folder.

Andrex has pictures of the puppy on them, if you hang it towards the wall the pictures are upside down. Therefore, the right way must be to hang it away from the wall.

The wife hangs it towards the wall. I’m sure she does it on purpose. I’m not sure how much more I can take…

    Option 3.

If he’s not happy, The offer a full refund on receipt of returned forks. They are obviously not what he wanted. You can re list them being very explicit about what’s included and what’s not.

    TheBunk,

Communication can be a bit difficult at times. They were always quick to answer, but can come across as a bit rude. I chose to ignore the attitude and put it down culture/translation. I checked and confirmed everything at every stage. You can specify everything, I didn’t, I just used their standard frame and tweaked bits here and there for my own purposes. In hindsight I wish I’d move the bottle bosses on the seat tube up a fraction as my current bottom swing mech sits just above lower bolt.

    Oblique,

Im afraid so, price are available by email on xacd@ti-bike.com.

When I said to them that I didn’t want the sliders and the price was dropped. I guess everything is negotiable.

    CharlieMungus,

Standard frame is as pictured. I think you could change the dimensions of the frame, say make longer, shorter etc and not incur any additional cost. Likewise removing the brake bosses and making it disc only wouldn’t incur any cost. Finishing, logos and changing things like dropouts would. I originally wanted sliding dropouts but they wanted 150usd for that. You could reuse my drawing if you wanted, you’d be better off emailing for a drawing of a standard frame and adjusting to fit. Please don’t use my logo as it makes my bike MY BIKE! 🙂

I didn’t ask for the undervaluation on the packaging. I was kinda hoping it would slip through unnoticed. I was prepared to pay the 15% import plus VAT.

This is a standard 29er frame. This is 495 USD plus shipping and bank fees.

The warranty is a lifetime warranty for the original user. The wording is below,

The Changda titanium frames carry a life time warranty.
We will replace or repair any frame that fails due to manufacturer defects in materials or workmanship for the original owner.
The warranty does not cover cosmetic or structural damage arising form abuse including but not limited to damage caused by crashes or collisions, owner neglect, improper installation and /or assembly, improper maintenance, modifications, additions, changes to the original product, or other excessive, improper or abnormal conditions. Wear from normal use or environmental exposure is not covered by this warranty.

I have heard it can be difficult to get them to agree it’s a warranty issue. We’ll see…
