I’ve got the Sektors on my Evil Sov and I’ve got Domains on my Nukeproof Mega. Sektors are good, the Domains are amazing. The Domains make the Sektors feel a little “noodly”. If you can put up with the weight get the Domains, plus the Domains are less likely to suffer with stanchion wear as they’re chrome (one of the main reasons i bought them)

Nukeroof Mega. Had a Five for four years and decided I wanted something a bit different. The Mega climbs better than the Five and descends like a downhill bike. It’ll be right at home in Wharncliffe!

Snapped mine a couple of years ago. It broke in four places, told I’d be off the bike for six months. After two weeks I started doing a few spinning classes, after four weeks bought a road bike and took to the tarmac, three weeks after that did the coast to coast on my mtb. Healing time i suppose is down to the individual. I watched what i ate, abstained from booze, kept pain killers to a minimum which all seemed to help the healing process…. Not had any bother with it since although its visibly bent now 😀

I agree with Speshpaul – I was toying with the idea of buying the Park one then i came across the wheel pro website. A doddle to build and probably more stable than cheaper off the shelf ones

    Great brake for the dollar.
My folks bought me a set for xmas I only used them twice in anger as I had some Formula’s on the way.
The only down side I found was the mounting bolts are made of a cream cheese. I’d advise swapping these sooner rather than later. I also put some braided hoses on and these improved the already impressive power.
The Levers are a tad on the long side for me but thats a personal thing.
I also found Clarks themselves very helpful when i needed advise on chaging the hoses.

I went for a blast there yesterday morning and it was truly a winter wonderland. The main roads in were fine (can’s comment on the minor roads) The trails in the forest are brilliant! The ones I rode yesterday were pretty much untouched, probably 2″-3″ on the wooded single tracks, a bit deeper on the wider more exposed fire roads.

I’ve had mine for a touch under 3 years and it gets ridden week in week out no matter the weather or ground conditions. I ride mostly the Lakes and Peaks, and can be out for up to 9 hours. I’ve only changed the bearings in the frame once. Infact, the frame is the only thing that is still original from when i bought it. I ride it fairly hard and i’ve upgraded the components to reflect this – coils front and rear.. R1 Brakes Saint group set, yada yada….
In all honesty i’d say its a fairly bombproof bike, maybe not the best looking out there but it more than works for me.
