476 as of yesterday. Biggest haul for this early. Will be well into the 5’s this week. Enjoying the bike and not just chasing miles which is also good!

how much difference to room temp will a fan make?

had a stove fitted recently and its lush but still notice that with very high ceilings here the warm air does sit high above your head!

200 here. on target for 440 this month.
Better than last year. I think that bar a few short rides, no proper mileage happened until after the snow went in April last year so feeling much more on top of things!
500 miles a month is a lot to balance with work/kids etc but don’t loose heart just yet people, the mileage will pick up as the weather improves!

put your mobile number on each advert.

people who are really interested in what you are selling (rather than tyre kickers) are more likely to contact you and deal outside of ebay. This will also allow you a chance to assess whether they are likely to be schisters as well.

use ebay as an advertising tool – its too expensive to sell high priced items on it nowadays

working (largely) from home means that between the hours of 0840hrs and 1529hrs the kitchen often resembles a work shop!

200 here – building a cyclocross bike in the inaugural race’s honour!

strategy (so far and whilst hungover by the fire) is to ride through the night and not carry any gear to make stopping an option!

food / refuelling are the biggest issues as far as I can see!

looking forward to meeting with Charlie TBM finally!

shouldn’t you be able to find out disposal routes / revenues etc through the freedom of information act?

    that would be interesting.

the one thing I take from this is that, if you buy second hand ‘high end’ carbon frames off ebay etc make sure you see the original receipt etc showing its from a bona fida outlet and you weren’t buying a Chinese ‘copy’ at twice the price!

Induction convert here. Superb heat transfer in a much more uniform pattern with no typical gas hotspots and easy wipe clean. Looks lovely too!
