This is something I need to look at. A luftkappe made a big difference to my 160’s, running best with no tokens or the MRP I stuck in before. The standard damper is fine and I like it’s simplicity but on fast repetitive Rocky trails it just goes to pieces.

Tired, ignoring WHO reporting criteria, why doesn’t the government simply add on the number of official deaths outside hospitals where Covid was put on the death certificate? Each evening on the news the public get “x deaths total today but this does not include care homes or deaths in the community”. Why can’t they just add on the number released so far up to April 10th even if it still probably under estimates the true number? Easy for the public to digest rather than number of deaths above a ten year average.

Why haven’t the 1600 odd extra deaths up to April 10th outside hospital still not been added to the official tally?

A few on here have given projections and graphs. Now that there may be thousands missing off the true fatality figure due to the care home situation, do these projections have to be amended?

Sorry to butt in. Currently run a 11-40 with a mid cage non clutch SLX mech on a Switchback – works a treat. Want to try a 11-46. Is the general consensus this will work with the same mech?

Think one or two on here have indicated the official mod is a little smaller and thus improvements less obvious than the Luftkappe?

Yep, my jacket zip went after two years of heaving use. Speculatively contacted Madison expecting a fair wear and tear response even after suggesting it had a hard time. Was told no probs send it back. Had to go via the shop I bought it from, but Cyclestore were equally good. Even got the latest version too.

Just picking up on this again, we’ve made the jump from Surrey and moving to the Elburton/Goosewell area in August. Nice area of town, 5 mins from the beach and and biking loops from my door without even having to go up onto the Moors.
