The 2 I had both lost tension in the little metal arm – it bent under pressure. Dissapointing, because it looked the coolest.

I have used the tension seeker & tension seeker II from DMR, the Surly one and the Gusset one.

They were all shit, worst was the DMR II. In the end I bought a SS frame.

Have heard good things about the doofer though.

I agree about Swinnertons on the Chase. Given their position, they could be a lot more expensive. I have used them a few times and always been impressed.

Lunge, I think Halesowen Cycles just closed down…

…and if you didn’t trust them to put your saddle on, be very very careful with Race co.

Amusing, people that think fixed gear is a fad or a trend.

SDG Bel Air on the mtb, but nothing comes close to the comfort of my worn in Brooks. If you have never tried one, give one a go – it is really, really comfy on the road bike.

Still light green with the usual watermark. I’m suprised it’s not changed, what with the credit crunch.

I was walking home down my road with a 6 year old boy. A big dog comes tearing at us and starts going for my son.

My choices were, let the dog rip his thoat out or kick him and get my son away from him.

    Nice troll though.

so it’s the responsibility of non dog owners to ‘read’ dogs, rather than getting dog owners to control them?

A dog went for my son last year. I kicked it.

Every single time vegetarian/vegan ism is mentioned on this site, it is the meat eaters that have a problem with it. Why? I have been vegetarian for about 14 of my 36 years, and can’t see me going abck to meat – but my family eat meat, I’ll buy and prepare meat because that’s their choice to eat it.

As XherbieX says…each to their own.
