I pop in a couple of times a year when I’m in the Lakes. Never had anything but excellent service from them, and very good advice when I haven’t bought anything.
I knew I recognized you! I saw you in a photo on some random website and just noticed you on Facebook and figured you looked familiar. If you’re curious to see what I mean, I think I visited http://www.edsonfg.net (from what I can recall). You’ll see what I mean, and hopefully it works and you can still see it. So anyways, how are you? How was your week? Hope to hear from you soon :)
The last time I tried to spend any money at Race Co, Paul was too busy chatting to a mate.
I would much rather go to Two Wheels, and the point about how it looks is a little ridiculous – Paul/RaceCo has time to keep his shop clean…he’s not overly troubled with paying customers.
as above, free weights are way more versatil than a multi gym. If you are bored – look around for a programme that will keep you interested. I am doing a Mon/Tue/Thur/Fri programme that keeps to 5 excercises per day, but to exaustion. Never gets boring, and can be done with dumbells, barbells, bench and chin up bar.
fixed hub built onto wheel by lbs = about £50. Then get any other road front wheel. Best route to getting a fixed is get a suitable bike secondhand/ebay/skip and do it yourself. Just make sure you get a frame with either track ends or campy dropouts.
