I went up there a few weeks, and I must say the Peel Cafe & Alpine bikes were both pretty impressive, I’m sorry that the old hub/cafe owners didn’t win the tender, but obviously there offer was not suitable, as it’s not just about bikers, they seem to be trying to attract families for the the walks etc. in actual fact on the Sunday there were a lot of families there enjoying themselves and why not? Isn’t foresty commission land for everyone to enjoy? Like a previous poster said we are damn lucky to have something like Glentress.

As for being unhappy with a 17yr old babysitting, I think he was comparing that his ex considered the baby too young to be without her care overnight. For the record, my wife finds it hard to let me babysit for more than a few hours, let alone anyone else. New mothers are, unsurprisingly, quite protective of their babies.

After talking to various people, seems this winter I’m gonna keep the heating on all the time at about 18/19 then when we go to bed at 16′ apparently my mate said he used less gas doing as there was less heating to do from cold, as from cold the boiler is working overtime for an hour or 2

I have built 2 bikes now from scratch, a Heckler and recently a Butcher. But I always get LBS to press headset in!
I llove building my own bikes as you have a real sense of satisfaction, but don’t rush it and have all the correct tools to hand, plenty of grease and a Beer.
