Had an iPhone 3G a few years ago, tried a HTC desire for the last 2 years, now got an iPhone 4s and love it, brilliant camera and glad I’m back with an iPhone as so much easier syncing stuff with my iMac & iPad.

I know, my brother owned one before he bought his 16″ Five. It was too small for him and he is only 5’8″. Santa Cruz bikes are know to come up small which is why at 5’10” you would go for a large.

I was in the same situation when I was buying my Butcher, I’m 5’11 with 32 inside leg, I was just slightly to big for a Medium so went for a large as SC bike comes up quite small anyway in the TT, I run my Large with a 50mm stem and it’s perfec. I did try a Medium but thought i might struggle on it on full days out.

Think the OP should got for 17″ and I was always told you shouldn’t rely on layback posts to extend the reach as you positioning your body back further on the bike.

what is your build going to be Jeffus?

Just a tip but don’t run too much sag on the RP23 otherwise you will be too far into the sweet spot of the travel. SC say 15-20mm sag, i find that nearer to 15mm you are the better small bump compliance is.

Also they have a short top tube so bear this in mind with stem length.

Love mine, pedals lovely, SC spec a low compression tune shock so no need for an RP23 the float does a great job, no pedal bob.
It’s not the lightest 6″ AM rig, but going down with a pair of 36s it just goes through everything lie a knife through butter!

i had a iphone 3G, 2 years ago was waiting for the 4 but i couldn’t wait so went to an Android, yes they are ok but as time went on it annoyed me…. battery life was just terrible, i thought i could sync my mac to it with double twist but it was useless, the 4 came out and i was gutted that i had a phone i didn’t want. My android contract has just run and i have just got a 4s last week and i love it, it syncs to my iMac and iPad with iCloud and everything is lovely now!

If this is the case, be aware that with iOS5 all text messages sent to another iPhone turn to iMessages and are free….bit like BBM for Blackberrys.

all my family have iOS devices, FaceTime, pic messaging is great as they live all over the world!

my HTC desire contract has just finished, yes i took the plunge and went for a 4s……… The phone ha blown me away, superb battery life compared to Android devices, the camera is brilliant… Siri… it does actually work you know, i find it brilliant for putting things on my calendar, Siri isn’t like any other voice recognition on Android – this really does work.

got mine through uswitch….. on Orange £36 pm unlimited texts, 600 mins, 500mb and NO upfront cost

i woke up on 20th October 2010 ready to pack my bike in the car as i was doing so my girlfriends daughter ran down stairs and said Mummy has wet the bed………..yes her waters had gone exactly 15 days before her due date – 3 hours later I was a proud father. Hence to say my riding had ended for a few weeks.

Personally I wouldn’t really be more than an hour away if she is this close to her due date.

On a different note our bedroom smelt of almonds!

You obviously have no awareness of someone who is struggling to cope with depression or something worse then.

O right is he suffering from depression then? And yes I have an awareness, my sister suffered depression until she ended her life!!!!

Am I missing something? Is there a link between depression and shoplifting?

the battery life woes of Android phones is well know due to the the open-source OS, developers takes short cuts to write apps that don’t optimise battery consumption……….

yes people slate Apple for the ‘closed’ iOS but there is a reason for it……..developers have to follow apple protocols so battery life it optimised the best……

    simples!
