There’s loads around where I live. Would you rather look at this, the smoke of which can be seen across entire counties?

I’d rather we had already invested in nuclear power plants instead of sticking up a bunch of pointless windmills that produce such little electricity we end up buying all our power from the French.

I think the government should be wondering why people want/need to regularly get off their tits on drink or drugs.

You write as if we haven’t been getting bent for thousands of years. 😆

Except we have been getting bent for thousands of years.
    Tens of thousands of years.
Almost certainly hundreds of thousands of years.
    And possibly *millions of years.
    💡

*I appreciate that millions of years ago our ancestors weren’t exactly the same species, before the pedants jump in.

I have a feeling that over 36 in a a 30 you wont be offered Speed Awareness training.

It varies from county to county.

    Pay fine and accept points.

Do they normally contact you by email ??

I would have thought they did these things by post normally. Seems a bit odd.

I’m guessing the email was from his employers who would have been given the first NIP and S172 request.

ETA: as the company car will be registered with the company, not the OP. The company will fill in the S172 request to name the driver, then the OP will get his paperwork in the post.

Yep some insurances companies have now cottoned on and have every right to ask if you’ve been on a speed awarness course.

If you failed to disclose this information, how would they find out?

Genuine question, I am not in any way, shape or form recommending the hiding of material facts in a contract of upmost good faith. 😀

I genuinely have no idea what speed I was doing. I don’t even remember driving down that road on Saturday

Then you should request (as already mentioned they are not obliged) to see the photographic evidence so you can ascertain whether it was you or not.
The speed camera partnerships do make mistakes and it would be folly to presume your own guilt.
It may not be you driving, it may not be your car, you may not have been speeding. 💡

It’s alright saying “bend over and take your punishment”, but only once you know you are guilty.

Really want this algorithm to see if my ex was a lesbian or not.

Before you met, no. After, almost certainly.

Please ask if you require additional information about the point of this post.

According to her in doors (who is an advisor at said job shop) they sadly won’t fund to retrain, but will fund additional training in the field that you have worked in.

Fortunate for the OP that he’s been working weekends for my bicycle repair business. 😉

They won’t come out and fix a worn clutch, they would only come out if you broke down, ie your clutch failed. Is that what you want?

Pedantic i know but needed saying.

I really don’t think it did.
Racing against competitors, the clock, strava; it’s all racing and is almost certainly the reason why this poor chap is dead.

I’d be happier with the inconvenience of total road closure than to allow racing to continue on open roads.
    It isn’t safe.
Giving civvies on motorbikes the power to stop traffic isn’t the answer either.

I just mean that there are people out there who are foolish enough to buy second hand and save a very small amount of money to sacrifice their consumer rights.
For all I know, your bike could be riddled with expensive problems that the buyer would only find out about after parting with their hard earned.

That was all I meant, and I do apologize for making the suggestion that your bike that you have for sale could be a totally overpriced shed, but then that’s what you get for asking silly questions after trying to advertise your sale in the bike forum. 💡

    £3850

    😆 😆 😆

A lot less than that, but then there are a lot of mugs about keeping s/h prices high and encouraging bicycle theft, so you might get lucky.

How do you copy a previous post to make it appear in the box?
Yeah I know I’m a Neanderthal and yes I could spend the next hour trying every button.

Why do you have to sit down to do a wheelie?

    Standing wheelies are cool.

It strikes me that the solution to not having enough gears is probably to have more gears. Though I wouldn’t know, having never been daft enough to not have enough gears.

    I’d vote for this gentleman.

Being over 80 I think it’s a little late for this! She sits quite low in her current car and this combined with a deep spoiler on the front has lead to a few scrapes.

    My mistake, carry on.

    Deep spoiler, FFS. 🙄

I especially like the City Emergency Braking system which, frankly, would be a godsend as she seems to have an issue with nudging things because she can’t see the front of the current car that well.

    How much is the VW?
I’ll bet you dinner that it won’t be as cheap as driving lessons. 💡

Seriously, get her driving sorted. Book her some refresher lessons. If you think she’d get the hump by the suggestion then book yourself in for some too, tell her everyone’s doing it these days.

Magura rim brakes are my favourite stoppers of all time.
All the power you’ll ever need with amazing feel.
Don’t forget (as rotor size seems like one of the many must have “upgrades” at the moment) that they are essentially a disc brake with a whopping 600mm+ rotor.
The only downsides are that the “rotor” is closer to the filth and you’d have to back them off if you pringled your wheel.

No they don’t; they deny everything.

As for the Plod, I was hit by a car on the M62; he refused to stop. I had pics, I reported it, I filled in a 26 page document and 3 months later they said they had ‘insufficient evidence’ to do anything.

Which is plodspeak for ‘too lazy’

You had pics of the accident or of the resultant damage?
I’m guessing you had 3rd party witnesses as well, or was it your word against his? 💡

By the way, the policeman who replied spelt ‘Thanks’ thusly : “Thank’s”.
Should I reply in a STW fashion?

Nah, that’s correct; it’s a contraction of “thank yoos!”.

Unbranded bearings are usually cheap for a reason. Go for a brand name bearing like INA / FAG / SKF.

    Yarr.
Still cheap if you buy them as a bearing, as opposed to a mountainbike bearing which will automatically be 7 times the price.
