Yeah, was aware of the insurance thing. Mrs is a bit worried whether it’ll affect our premium. I assumed if you rang up and said it was a towbar rather than a supercharger it can’t be too bad!

    Thanks all. Very useful info.

Definitely going down the non-DIY route. I don’t mix well with electronics!

Nose weight and is 50kg. More than enough for my hardtail and another for wife or mate depending on the scenario.

    Cheers!

Got a Tern Uno on cycle to work a couple of months ago. No problems with it so far. Yes its not “light” and it doesn’t fold as small as a brompton; but it’s much better than the MTB on the train and cost all of £330 (gross, before salary sacrifice) so fairly bargainous. It does fit under my desk at work though, and makes a good conversation starter when colleagues walk past…

First ride out with a group this weekend. Organiser made this video in which I almost make it up a hill.

Yay! That’s excellent news. Poor pup, bet she’s mortified with the hair cut :P

Got the bog standard Homebase own brand ones. Used them a couple of times and seem good enough. Better than chopping through cords (done once on borrowed ones no less)!

Poor thing, hope the third op takes and she’s right as raing soon.

We’ve just gone with Petplan for our pup (Mini Schnauzer) too. The Mrs sorted it all out and came to the same conclusion as taffy & sandwhicheater.

If the pup has been registered with the Kennel Club you should get 4 weeks insurance included with the registration IIRC.

She’s lovely; good luck Stox Dog! I shall hug our pup extra hard this evening.

Its crazy how much vet things cost! Has anyone seen the SuperVet programme on C4? Makes your eyes water how much these advanced procedures cost.

Yikes sounds like a long time. Perhaps just teething problems?

Mine came through pretty quick. Application last Thursday and got the certificate yesterday. Some sweet foldy bike action will be occurring next week.
