I do like Alpines, they just look right.

Can't find any of it with the saddle up/forks down, but that was mine.

Changed for a Turner Rail and a rigid ss xc bike.

I used a mate's Vision One, and a £5 Wilko headtorch for my two night laps at Mountain Mayhem and it was brilliant, never felt underlit, and I only had it on the high setting very rarely. I'm definitely buying one when I start going out in the dark over the winter.

I was going for Twitiquette, bit shorter than Twitterquette

£300 on the Rail was fairly extravagant for me.

Chicksands. Did have some from Woburn ages ago, lost them.

I'd rather watch Gervais do stand-up than anyone else.

Ricky Gervais is genuinely funny, Extras is amazingly good, rewatched it all recently. Likewise The Office.

Moon was one of my favourite films recently. Certainly best British film in a long time for me.

Wow, even watching that has left me feeling a little nauseous and with sweaty palms!

Fair play to anyone who does that, that's crazy.

    Impressive!

    Best I managed was this:

As an Arsenal fan, injuries like that always sicken me. Only seen this one once but apparently it was unlucky rather than malicious?

I have them on risers, because with flats the bars are too low. It's up to you whether you like them or not.

Anakin was played by Jake Lloyd in Phantom Menace IIRC.

I meant overhyped by people I know, sorry.

I was pretty much the only person I knew who saw the first series first time round, and now my Facebook news feed is full of it.

I enjoy it, but it's being massively over hyped, heard people saying its the funniest show ever etc. It's not, its a good comedy.

I think you could make a case for all three Arctic Monkeys albums, although they're a bit too similar.

Demon Days by Gorillaz for sure.

    2005 Gary Fisher GED.

Except it came with the next years Drop Offs (The decent looking all black ones) Replaced it with a Turner Rail last year, and then rebuilt it and tried to sell the Turner, then rebuilt the Turner, so now the GF is in the shed, needing some chainring bolts to be rideable.

    Fiction, I have no idea.

Non fiction, only one option, To Reach The Clouds by Phillippe Petit. A book so good, I found Man On Wire strangely disappointing. Just astonishing.

    Downhill bike is fine.

XC bike is hanging in there, despite massive amounts of rear wheel bearing play ever since Mayhem.

BMX works, but is made up of such a mish mash of bits I'm suprised.

Jump bike needs chainring bolts to be rideable.

    Ok that's cool.

So, I assume I undo the connector and unplug the hoses and just pushfit and tighten them back up?

Yeah, the GP was out of sync slightly, but I think they fixed it about 2/3rds of the way in, there was a noise and a line of commentary was repeated and it seemed to be in sync after that.

A book for me, Cormac McCarthy's The Road. Yeah, it was good, but it wasn't thatgood.

Oh, and Tim Burton's Alice In Wonderland. I expected it to be at least a bit interesting and different. Was just awful from start to finish.

I can't wait for them to finish bottom of the group and miss out on the Europa League.

I am trying to imagine how having one's chain snap throws one over the bars

Very easily, the power you put into the pedals doesn't meet any resistance, your weight goes forward very fast and you go over the bars.

Not to be negative but Heath in the dark knight was pants – and to edit the whole film around his none perforamce made for a shocking follow up to Batman begins.

Christian Bale is a great actor – keep the batman franchise with him and we will be much better off/

Yes, I know you will all disagree, but it is in fact all about me

Nah, Gary Oldman is the great actor in the Batman series.

Gary Oldman in Leon. Actually terrifying. Along the same lines, Javier Bardem in No Country For Old Men.

Both Nickelson and Ledger as the Joker.

    Sam Rockwell in Moon.

Pretty much everyone in The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, especially Brad Pitt, Casey Affleck and Sam Rockwell.
