without actually seeing it i’ll have a guess at water based paint?
what are you doing with the doors once stripped?repainting?
if repainting,then get as much off as you can then attack it with an electric sander with decreasing grades of sandpaper.
dipping dries the doors out and opens all the joints up but it does remove all the paint

My colleague (who teaches painting and decorating at our college) says that indeed, putting a finish on just one side of lower-grade materials can mean it’ll warp on that side.

Think of what happens when you wet one side of a piece of paper, it tends to curl to that side as it dries.

He says the term is ‘Back-priming’ and ideally, you will finish/paint all sides of your skirting before fitting…

my external hard drive is fat 32,plug it into the usb and it plays everything through the ps3.it appears under movies/music tabs – press triangle button i think and it displays all content

bought my old mother a sony mp3 player solely for audio books.i wasn’t sure she would get used to it as it’s quite fiddly so was hoping i’d get it thrown back at me – no chance,she loves it.
i have tons of audiobooks and she has similar tastes,thrillers,cops and robber type of thing so she has plenty of choice
