I'll be voting Green, like I always have done.

And I always make sure that I vote. I know that the Green Party aren't going to beat everyone else, but that doesn't mean my vote doesn't count.

My Dad left when I was 2 and I didn't see him again until I was 18.

We met up, he explained his reasons for leaving and I started to get to know him again (very tentatively).

It's taken us a decade, but it finally feels like a proper father/daughter relationship.

However, if on that first meeting it doesn't feel right, or even if the 20th meeting doesn't feel right – walk away. You should never feel obligated to stay in touch with someone because they are your family.

And let us know what you decide to do 🙂

Radio Presenter, doing the early breakfast show on a station in the South.

Loads of fun, loved every minute of it. Highlights included being paid to talk (instead of being told to shut up), expanding my musical tastes and getting to have a 'booby hug' with Davina McCall.

Downsides were abysmally low pay and getting up at 3am.

It depends, are you allowed to plant flowers on the grave, or just leave bouquets?

My Nan had planted loads of lovely stuff on my Grandad's grave, but was told by the church to remove, so it's always best to check.

    +1 for CBT.

I had similar problems with anger, lashing out at the people closest to me (especially when I'd been drinking) and CBT helped me to properly deal with everything and learn how to control myself.

    It is AWESOME.

Sometimes I can't believe people on here. Stratobiker just wanted a quick logo for £50.

This is obviously not aimed at the designers that are able to charge lots of money for their work.

I have a full time job, but I do design work on the side, usually for friends, as I've found that I'm alright at it. I'd be more than happy to get paid £50 for a couple of hours of enjoyable 'designing'.

I think if people had taken a bit of time to think about it, they might have realised that it wasn't aimed at designers who can command far more money than £50.

It's always cool to find people that you get on really well with…but I think you should ask yourself how you would feel if your girlfriend did the same with a guy she had a connection with.

Personally, I'd meet up as 2 couples or take my other half with me. Then the message is loud and clear and everyone can be friends 🙂

Thanks annabananna, I'm not sure whether I'd like to keep it outdoors or indoors…I'd be worried about the foxes getting it if we kept it outdoors and wouldn't want to make it stay in the shed.

The rabbits in this thread are gorgeous!

I really want a rabbit! Am currently trying to convince my other half that it's a good idea.

Are they easy to look after?

    boasty I-had-loads-of-Facebook-friends person!

Hardly boasting…I've got better things to boast about than Facebook friends.

I just moved around a lot when I was a child and therefore have a lot of old school 'friends'. I just happened to delete most of them the other day.

I got fed up with the majority of Facebook friends the other night and deleted 200 people.

I don't think anyone noticed…which proves that I'm either horribly unpopular or just should have not been friends with them in the first place 😉

Had horrible gallstones, one of them got out into my bile duct and gave me jaundice so I looked like a Simpsons character. Not a good look.

I can totally sympathise with the pain, when I came out of surgery I was screaming as I woke up (but am a girl, so it's allowed). The morphine was awesome though…*sigh*

    Fishfinger and dairylea sandwich.

+1 for crisp sandwich – has to be cheese and onion flavour though 🙂

There were loads on the windowsill of our old house, literally about 20 of them wandering about…it was very weird. Only happened in the last 2 or 3 months though.

I had an absolute nightmare changing my name a few years ago!

Basically, my Mum changed my surname unofficially (I.e. just enrolled me at school under a different name) after my Dad left. I grew up with this other surname, but a few years ago wanted to use my Dad's surname again.

Obviously I had no paperwork regarding the name change – trying to convince companies my name was just going back to how it was supposed to be was rubbish!!

So best advice, relax…it'll be over soon 😉

Why? He has been – and to a lesser extent still is – immensely popular with millions of people. Like him or loathe him he has recorded many memorable songs and performed bigger gigs than most artists can dream of. Are you playing the usual "all music is naff apart from what I like" card here?

Not in the slightest, I have 'terrible' taste in music! I like Take That and Lady Gaga. I also use this opportunity to admit that I watch Glee and love every second of it. Yes, I am cheesy and proud 😀

I know how successful he is, he's recorded loads of songs that people love and played huge gigs. But I still think that Outsanding Contribution to Music should go to someone who is not only a good performer (which I agree Robbie is) but to someone who is also a good singer and who writes all of their own songs.

Just my opinion – I know lots of people love him!

I think he made the best he could of a truly awful, terribly produced situation.

Robbie Williams – Outstanding Contribution to Music? Best joke I've heard all year 🙂

interesting nothing but praise for them here.

you'll be hard pushed to beat Sky.

we have the phone and broadband.

    no problems at all.

That's strange…tbh it seems that customer service levels differ depending on which customer you are talking to – for all of the providers!

Some friends have recommended BT, others absolutely hate it, same for Sky and Virgin!

    Hmm…maybe we'll just pick the cheapest Soma_Rich?

To be honest, I'd be slightly wary of living with people who were quibbling over paying a tv licence…it's only about £12 a month!

What is their defence for not paying, are they saying they don't watch it? If that's the case, either get rid of the TV or you pay for the licence and have the TV in your room.

But be wary of housemates who are trying to cause trouble over something as small as this!
