Not a photo of my bike but brings back memories 🙂

I was 14, I had no knowledge of what was good all I knew was it weighed considerably less than my old heap of poop, it looked ace and I loved ripping through the woods on it.

I guess I will always have a soft spot for them! It was a halfords special 😀

Is windows media centre any good, not used it myself but thought it might be easier for Amos to setup if it does do what it claims to.

The money doesn’t go on the trails, head in to the cafe there is a collection pot to build a new black run.

The money goes on metal statues and coach spaces for the Americans…

I don’t mind paying my way, pay every time at Cannock Chase my local ride. £7 I think is just wrong, its like most places in the lakes bit of a tourist trap.

I just like the end lyrics “f*ck you I won’t do what you tell me”

The HH baselayers still just as awesome even after 15 years 😉

Recommend from me also, http://grizedale-camping.co.uk/ the pods or bivvys are fab. We fitted two double air beds in a pod, it will be cosy teddy! 🙂

Take some matches and the farm supplys firewood (for a small fee).

Arthur is a top bloke can’t believe at his age he is doing Kilimanjaro, legend.

Depends on the dog I’d never take Harvey (black lab) too easily distracted and doesn’t like mud, rain and the cold… wimp.

Been on a few rides when others have taken their dogs and its been a pleasure, no hassle at all.

Have a look on pink bike and search for tech tuesday there is the you tube guide and photos + description. My first thought was the lever isn’t compressed, well worth leaving for an hour have a coffee and clear your head i’m terrible for getting frustrated and sometimes a break makes life easier!

Regarding the blackberry playbook its not just a tablet. You need a blackberry handheld which bridges to the playbook. It’s a glorified dumb terminal but the new OS and newer playbooks realised later this year will be better. Many have predicted it’s death though as the ipad3 will be realised later this year also.

I am working on a mobile data project i have evaluated the galaxy tab 10.1, playbook and ipad2. The galaxy tab wins it for me as a personal device its really easy to work with. Business wise citrix works a treat on the ipad and tab. The playbook has potenial infact i would prefer a playbook corporate wise so i can manage it from the BES but RIM have failed to deliver so far. I was at RIMs hq in slough there is a lot more to come from them but can’t help think they are some what lagging, falling behind.

The samsung galaxy tab is well worth looking at, should be some in pc wally world available to demo handson.

Have a look at 1&1.co.uk you pay for their tools and service but you do get a professional looking website. alternatively get a book like website building for dummies.

You won’t make masssive money out of mountain biking, leasing the grounds for concerts etc (music with a view) would. Then you would have money to spend on trial building 😀

Cannock Chase has Will Young, Jools holland and many more coming.

I use http://www.avg.com the free version.

I have used http://www.kaspersky.com/ in the past when licences are on the cheap (3 for a tenner etc).

Garmin/TomTom they all seem the same these days. Just find one you like the look of and can afford.

Happy with my TomTom, map updating seems expensive though.

If your on facebook do a search for Wyre Forest MTB Trails, they might be able to help. Think one of the guys manages a bike route through a F.C. site in Ribbesford Wood.

I took my anthem to the lakes and the only thing I died on was the slippy board walks in Grizedale…. other than that no problem!

Both very good frames depends on your budget.

On One have some good sales/bargains, think you’ll struggle to get a brand new P7 at discount.

The 456 might take longer travel forks too over the P7.

It’s a bit boy racerish and slightly off topic but if you want a Porsche beating track toy buy an 05 plate Fiesta ST and take it to these boys,

    http://www.jam-sport.co.uk/

They just stick a supercharger in and a cosworth inlet, uprate the brakes job done.

Nothing better than overtaking a Porsche 911 GT3 at Bedford Autodrome in a ford fiesta albeit 350bhp+ fiesta 🙂 certainly upsets a few people when they discover you only spent £12k all in and its faster than there £90k. Although driver skill does come into play.

smile or cringe its one of those things you have to sit in before you die 😆

Personally I’d love a mustang one day 🙂

If you want to use it outside of the house consider a “mifi” from 3 Network.

It connects to your ipad and the mifi dongle sits in your pocket. So you wouldn’t need to worry about which room you are in.

They cost around £10 a month for a basic 1Gb allowance and if other peoples usage is anything to go by this is plenty enough unless of course your streaming movies every day 24/7.

Cost wise its better to get your router sorted but the mifi is a good option as you can use it away from home. 🙂

    Hope this helps
