    Hi pal,

Well that’s kind of it, it rides perfectly, rolls well brakes are reliable etc
Doesn’t need anything, but feel like I want to treat it to something!

I read on here last week about properly setting the fork up and rear shock – went to cannock this Sunday and really liked how she felt.

nothing i’d say I need to replace – maybe bars for a firmer set – if it’s possible
It’s only running the stock bars and stem.

    Thanks for the reply

    Hi pal,

    Hope all’s well.
I’m taking the 7yr old there tis summer too
Take her out on the plenet, to the left of the telecabin as you look at the hill – the nyon trails are nice and steady too.

If you take the car up the Plenet, there’s a nice steady trail to Les Gets.
You could also head to montriond/ Les Lindarets and up to Avoriaz – all really good access tracks

    Hope it helps

    Afternoon,

I’ve been thinking about this too, but not sure if it’s a good call as I think I use the clips when spinning more than I realise.
Though I think i’m only thinking it so I can buy something and tinker with the bike!!

For the routes I do I think clips are fine.
Though I did go for so Ride Concept shoes, but think I much prefer the skinny road style XC shoe.

I’ll be keen to hear what you think to being unclipped!

    I hope you’re well

    Happy new year guys.

    Thanks for the replies.
I’ve ordered a rear 4 pot XT calliper.
I don’t feel I need it on the front as the lever feel is crisp and out on the trails I rarely use the front, but do rely on the back more.

I’ll look in to the battery options, i’m tempted to change the rear cassette – it’s an 11-46!!
last one I bought was 11-32 and I know I don’t use the top three gears of the cassette.

    All the best
