I broke my wrist 10 years ago in a climbing accident, got 2 plates and 6 pins and they're still in. Consultant chappie said I could have them removed but they've give me no grief so i think best not to disturb them. Plus my 2" scar is just about going down and I don't want another, nor do I want time off work or time off the bike! I have a bit of discomfort once every blue moon with the cold weather but thats it, and it doesn't move as much as the other one but I more than get by! I can still do everything I used too, including Climbing which the consultant said I'd never do again! Up Yours consultant!
Yes it is…. Being a scouser i'm obviously biased but that aside it is a great "compact" city to visit. Lots of interesting and free museums / galleries, nice buildings and events, nice places to eat and shops to visit. Liverpool One is a relatively new shopping complex if thats what you're into. Give it a go and have fun!
They are great fun and that turbo just kicks in and you're away. Handling is not the best, but good in a straight line…. Decent boot too, can get my bike in with seats down and my dog can get in the boot too (minus bike)
RIP bert, looks a cute little fella. Always liked to read his line on the editorial section bit thing "where would you like to be stranded due to the ash cloud" etc…
I was at Monaco this weekend, great weekend, if you're a proper F1 fan, you've got to go! Got the general admission ticket for Sector Rocher, got there at 2am on Sunday morning and camped on the last corner. All for 80 euros, loved it !!!
if you want something as a pre-wash for the car buy some snow foam. It goes onto a dry car, leave it for 5 mins then rinse. Then wash and dry as normal.
We have a 53 Rav 4 but not the 4WD version, just front wheel. Great car, plenty of space, fuel economy ok and never missed a beat. I occasionally drive an X-trail in work, but prefer the Rav.
I have a seamaster had it about 7 years, its a great watch and looks really good. Had to have the spring in the clasp replaced about 3 yrs ago, cost me £90 – wrote and complained to Omega but they were'nt interested, but still a good watch. Prefer it to my Tag Indy 500.
I have the Terra's they're very good, dry quite quick and very light. I also have the Mammut base jumps with the schoeller fabric, a bit too warm for the UK, but ideal for the Alps. If you're interested I have a green / black pair, used only a few times – medium – you can have them for £15.00
it used to be a job (not all civil service jobs are cushy!) for life, but not so now. But, dont think the strikes will make any difference, whatever government we have, they'll all want to make cuts.
Yes it's a bit rubbish when you see someone do something outrageous which in my view is really bad and they get let off, but suppose thats just how it is here in the uk!
Bad news mate, sorry to hear it. Dont have a cat, or never had one, but i do like them. We have a dog, a springer and i dread to think of the day she goes 🙁
Go for the Mondeo, great car and better built than Vauxhalls in my opinion, even though I have an Astra myself, although have a Mondeo in work and its lovely!
She tends to wear a lot of Rab stuff. Pity she cant deliver me a free Rab VR Trail Stretch Top….that she's wore first smelling of lady smells…..( sorry own personal thoughts there….) 😀
I have 2 Cross pens, 1 is a fountain pen and another like a roller ball. Got the fountain pen from John Lewis from my other half as a gift when got my job 🙂
