Just bought a trainer, and waiting for it to arrive (Tacx Satori!) however all this terminology is new…Sufferfest? I take it’s not some bizarre fetish? If so ( 😀 ) where do i get it? Are there any ‘programmes’ i can follow?

    Cheers!

Yes they’re all franchised, so suppose on the level of service you get. I used a local SMART repair service (Manchester) who was very good and sorted a few other things out for the price.

CRC has worked ok for me on Quidco and i’ve just been paid a lump of money, some of which was from CRC. I use Quidco a lot, up to now (since feb) i’ve had around £145.00 paid back to me. Bonus.

I done the DofE (award!!!) when I was younger and really enjoyed it. Done it to ‘Gold’ level and enjoyed it, although at the time i didn’t have to write a letter. I suppose she should write about what new skills she will learn, helping out in the community, making new friends, meeting new people, seeing new places, getting fit etc.

When I went for my job interview at 18, i’d just finished the Gold award, and the lady said that my DofE award helped me get the job over the other candidates. It does still hold value in my opinion.

You could always walk over the sky-bridge for an expensive coffee at the radisson! Just in-between T1 and T2! terminals 1 and 3 are joined together. Plenty of places landside at T1.

Hi we went last year for 2 weeks and it’s one of the most beautiful places i’ve ever been too, and i’ve been fortunate to do some travelling!

We had a week on a small cruise boat around the coast / islands from Dubrovnic, visiting Hvar, Korcula (sp?) and Slano which was really good, then a week on the outskirts of Dubrovnic (Grand Palace) which was a ten minute bus ride into town away. We went in Sept and the weather was very good and had a great time. Would recommend it to anyone.

Relatively cheap as not in the Euro zone. We, as a couple were eating out with drinks and 2 courses for about £20 per night. Obviously more with a bigger family. The walled city is spectacular, lots of nice restaurants and bars, and take a look down all the small alleyways – lots of good finds down there! Can’t wait to go back!As stated above, beaches are small pebbles but not too bad. Lots of history and very interesting place.

And yes agreed with ridethelikes, lots of pretty chics about so take your sun glasses to go in ‘stealth mode’ 😛

They’re crap when you go in the shop, never mind try and phone them. Got a road bike from them a few months ago, originally said build time was 2 weeks. After 3 weeks it had not been built so said i wanted to cancel the order….they then found the time to build it! Good bike, good price, crap service!

good prices! I bought one of the messenger bags that they’re selling for something stupid like £6! I did pay £40 for it though – bummer!

Good bag though, had mine 4 years and totally bomb-proof.

Also on Quidco I had to send them an email to get them to manually ‘track’ the William Hill Casino transaction but it worked fine.

Cant recall who I done it, but think there is a ‘cashier’ function on the left hand side of the page. There is an online instant chat / help facility on there, speak to them and they will advise, thats what I done. The Cashback is now tracking in Quidco.

used Ebay once via Quidco and worked fine for me. Quidco is fab, money for old rope! There’s a good one at the minute, William Hill Casino – Bet £35 on a single bet and get £60 Cashback! Plus any winnings you get on the casino game. I won £40 and got the £60 cashback too! Bargain!

I just bought a sure siesta which has DAB and takes an iPhone. Seems good up to now but if put my phone in the dock whilst the DAB is on it interferes badly. My phone says it's not supported. I have an iPhone 4.

I got a Nilfisk C-120 from Amazon just before Xmas. Cost £110 i think with all sorts of attachments for patio's etc. Really pleased with it and a good piece of kit. Would happily recommend it.

I was until recently a member of BUPA paying £46 per month, but that was with 55% discount. I am 30, dont smoke, drink a little, generally a normal bloke. Had to declare a pre-existing Pilinoidal Sinus (abcess on arse) which the certificate outlines it will not treat. So your CTS may not be covered. Think if I recall, they ask for consent to contact your GP.

Never needed to use it, but cancelled it so cant comment on service.

Schumacher is a legend, a true racer. I dont see a problem with it, its racing. I know he tries to bull-sh*t his way out of it in interviews etc. however he doesn't give up.

A 3G is not a bad phone, don't think camera differs between a 3g and 3gs, but suppose you don't buy it for the camera. If thats what you wanted i'd buy a Sony Ericsson! Battery life on any phone is poor , you'd have to charge it every night. I had a 3G and it was fine, loved it – sold it to my sister. I wouldn't bother upgrading the software though to iOS4, slows it down a lot, and is not better for it. I have just upgraded to the Iphone 4 which is a fair bit quicker to the 3G. Still if you've not had either, you won't know the difference. I'd recommend one. (and then buy Angry Birds game!!!)

Ah could be a Pilinoidal Sinus! Caused by ingorwn hairs. Painful. I've had 3 and they're worse than child-birth. (Apparantly)Had to get it scooped out and it left a big cavity that had to get packed every day by the district nurse. Had 3 operations in total, each one hurt. And the smell….it's awful.

Go the docs and get it looked at !!!

Used to have the ST170, cracking car. went well, cheap to run and fix, handled well and more so lots of fun! I had a 3 door version which was big enough for my bike to go in the boot! Only downside to the focus is that it was mega stiff, you felt EVERY bump! But plus side, handled fantastic! Get one! I do miss that car….My Astra VXR is not as much fun! 🙁

Animals! Ha ha. We (HMRC) get an interest loan, big deal. Most shops will do interest free credit / buy now pay later. Hopefully C2W will be here soon enough to get a new bike!
