Also try event tyres and / or e-tyres . Order what you want and some fella turns up in bag van and does it on your drive way.

Cheers folks, i’ve bought some Shimano ones so waiting for them to arrive. Will pop them on my Shimano shoes, but the pedals are the Cannondale Coda (not SPD). Yes do recall them not being the best, but until i can afford some others, these will do! Cheers.

used it since last feb and had £300. Once they receive the money from their ‘partners’ who you’ve shopped with they transfer it to your bank account via BACS. I set mine to transfer once i receive £50 or more. Worth it for £5 per year. Money for nothing!!

i popped my roadbike on the Tacx Satori, and just used the standard tyres. I done it in the conversatory andthe turbo ate the tyre. Think i had too much pressure on the tyre from the roller. Black ‘marbles’ all over the conservatory floor, walls and kitchen door. Missus wasn’t too happy….. took much cleaning.

We have a 53 Rav 4 , the 2.0 petrol. We have owned it for 3 years and found it to be a good solid car and not had any mechanical problems (or any infact!) with it. Very reliable, relatively cheap to run and insure, however the 2.0l is a bit gutless and as such drinks a fair bit of fuel. A tank of fuel is about £50 (approx).

Boot is big enough for most things (bikes, dogs, shopping) and you can slide the back seats forward to make the boot bigger. The seats also fold into numerous positions. All in all, quite spacious, nice to drive and well equiped. Would have preferred a diesel but we dont do the mileage to warrant it. Looked at the X-Trail too but preferred this. Having driven and used an X-Trail since I still prefer the Rav.

Yes I use the snow foam lance to do my car too, its very good. The Nilfisk is good for the patio too and just enough pressure. Not tried the bike yet with the snow foam!!

I have a NIlfisk and im really pleased with it. Got it from amazon for about £100 with a whole load of attachments. Seems better than my old karcher.

Ho hum – detailing world? I use mine for the snow foam 🙂

Boba Fatt – take no notice of Sky – as long as you have the unlimited internet package and you can plug in an ethernet cable into the back of your HD box and one to the router you should be up and running. I did, never even contacted sky – seen it on their website and just done it myself. Works fine.

I have it and was not ‘rolled out’ I just done it myself. You need an unlimited internet usage account (dont think it has to be with sky?) and a Sky HD box. I am on Sky with telephone, TV and Broadband so all ok for me. I just nipped to tesco bought a £6 ethernet cable, one end in the router and one in the back of the HD box and I was away. You can download and stream programmes as you go. The Anytime + Icon appears at the top next to the planner, TV Guide etc….

You can wait for Sky to roll out or get a sky chap to come and charge you £60 (no shit!) or can do it in 5 minutes and your own ethernet cable. There’s a free video of how to do on the Sky website.

Some good programmes on there and worth it for free effectively as long as you have an unlimited Broadband account/ tariff

i’m looking to buy the bottom of the range one and get the Mi-Fi thing. Cheaper to buy the ipad and can just get a PAYG top up for the Mi-Fi should i want to use it away from home etc.

Quidco is the one I use – I’m up to £290 cash back since Feb. You can use it on most online retailer websites and if you register your debit card, they are linked in with certain high street shops (Halfords, B&Q) so you get cashback on high street sales too. Money for nowt, although you do pay a £5.00 fee each year on Quidco, where as you do not on TC.
