This is 2 streets away from me. Bit scary either way wherever you are, but more so so close to home!

Well it’ll be Whisky then for us! I knew there was a difference but didn’t know which way round, but cheers anyway! 😀

Dad cant make it; he’s away – how rude! Suppose i’ll have to go on my own – seems a bargain!

We went to Dubrovnik a few years ago in September and for the first week visited a number of the Islands and places along the coast. Korcula, Lopud, and Hvar Town. All lovely places.

Second week was in a place called Lapad about 10 mins on the Bus (no.6!) from Dubrovnik centre, so we had the best of both worlds – quiet hotel to stay in but if you wanted somewhere to go or a night out you could go into town, which was no more than 10 mins on the bus. There was a number of restaurants near the hotel too and prices were good. We enjoyed it so much that we are going back in Sept for another little holiday. One of the nicest places i’ve been too and i’ve been fortunate enough to do a fair bit of travelling.

As showerman says. Although they have to secure a premises, but that doesnt have to be a brand new door, just could be a temporary measure, then it’s for the ‘suspect’ to sort it themselves!

I was going to see Ribble but you answered your own question. I have a Ribble, lovely bike, but yes; crap service.

not sure on your model but I had a set of Thule Bars (and feet of course) on my BMW 3 series and a set of Halfords Bike Racks. Worked ok for me, but not 100% on yours. Suppose that doesn’t help much though…!

Sam i’m thinking of getting a VRS also, as getting rid of my Astra VXR. Your ‘defect’ sounds interesting….who done the remap?

For the vrs range on it’s 197bhp for petrol ( golf gti engine) and 170bhp for the diesel. Driven the petrol estate. Goes very well and loads of space! Just those White inserts on the seats tend to get a bit mucky after a while. But besides that an excellent car.

I think some of the prepay credit cards are commission free? You load the money on first to the card then make your purchase. If you look on moneysupermarket.com you may get a better idea.

I went to see it on Saturday evening and it’s very good. I’m a huge motorsport fan. The film covers his early days, rivalry with Prost and various other bits. Its definitely worth a watch if you’re a motorsport / F1 fan, and even if you’re not.

they’re quite easy to find out the numbers within the code (if you know how!) . once you know the numbers you can get in using any sequence of the numbers. I’d not have one!

We went to Rockcliffe (D&G) about 4 years ago for a week’s holiday and our Springer got a tick in her back leg. There is a hill in between Rockcliffe and Kipford and there is where she picked it up. Not knowing how to deal with it we took the dog the vet and the vet removed it. He said that Frontline is too weak for ticks so go for a stronger product (ask your vet) or he said if your dog does get a tick you can smother the tick in Vaseline which will suffocate it and then it should drop off. The area itself is full of ticks so it’s worth getting a treatment before you go (or have the number of the local vet!!!).

Have fun, it’s a nice part of the world. The cafe in Rockcliffe is good by the way, as is the hotel (Barons Craig) in Rockcliffe for some good beers’ and whiskey – oh and views 🙂

Went a couple of years ago, amazing place and prices were not so bad. Not expensive or cheap, just suppose what you pay at home for stuff! Not helpful I expect but the place gets my vote!

Stayed here a few years ago, not quite where you’d like but just a short drive. 1 bed and they take well behaved dogs! The owners have a small hotel on site and their restaurant is very nice. 😆

The LBS fixed it, just by whacking it dead hard with a rubber mallet. Harder than I dared too, but the chap said it’s quite common. Anyway all fixed, thanks to NWMTB in Cheadle and didn’t charge me a penny! Top work guys.

The Olympic Park is worth a look and you can go up the Olympic Tower. Also if you’re a car geek like me, the BMW museum.(The olympic park and and BMW place are near one another – get the tube) Obviously, beer and sausage!
