Yes there’s one near me ,(Bramhall, Stockport) and i too went this morning for the first time! 28 mins for me though! It’s been set up near me for a good few years but only just got round to dragging my arse out of bed for 0800 on a Saturday! Enjoyed it.

Either Tether (as above) via a smart phone or consider a ‘3’ Mi-Fi PAYG / Contract Device. It’s a wireless 3G transmitter. The Ipad picks up the Mi-Fi signal and you’re away! Very good bit of kit.

I reckon they can patch up, bit of tin and some araldite, it’ll be fine. Reckon there will be some vacancies for a captain with that company….! Not good though, looks scary!

Obviously not a Giro Hex, but Stif Cycles had the Fox Flux for £42 on their website. A good range of sizes too!

    I have a 325D Saloon (E90 version) 2007. I presume it’s the same 200bhp engine.

Cost to fill up when at maybe quarter tank is approx £65.00 on today’s fuel prices.

On a long motorway journey at 70 / 75 mph I can get 49mpg. 45mpg at 90mph (on a private airfield of course).

Round town, nothing special, maybe 36mpg tops.

In total I get around 400 miles per tank, i mainly do town driving with a small amount of motorway. Obviously goes further with a steady motorway journey. let me know if you want any further info.

    Happy motoring!!

I’ve got a 325D m-sport , all the toys and 200bhp. Bought some snow socks but not used them yet! As for MPG I’m getting 49 on motorway and around 38 around town. It’s nippy but that’s it, but I did come from a 240bhp Astra vxr! I’m thinking of a remap for a bit more poke and taking it to 330D power figures. Will probably go for the roof rack bike carrying option. Lovely car and 325D’s seem to be rare.

I have a 325D saloon but it’s useless for my bike in the boot (seats dont fold) . My Santa Cruz Heckler doesn’t fit in the boot with wheels off but will go on back seat at a squeeze with the wheels off, however mine is full leather so it would ruin the upholstry – the one time i tried i put seat covers down. Looking to get a bike rack (roof) or maybe a Saris Bones.

Leku, as Cougar says, yes try decathlon for cheap shoes , their own brand gym shoes seem ok, otherwise it’s a case of looking in local shops for deals.’i have a pair of Evolv Defy at the moment , very good!. Also try go outdoors as above; I got a pair of mad rock a few years ago in the bargain bin for £20 as they were last years’ shade of grey!!

    Cougar – I’m in Stockport.

Currently with a company called ‘animal friends’ but not claimed yet! Been with a company in the past called Equine and leisure; E&L as they are sometimes known and they took about 2 months to pay up. It was only when I wrote a an arsey latter to them did they pull their finger out, so avoid them! Currently pay £13 p/m for a 9 yr old springer.

the amount i put in is 0.6 of the fuel tank capacity (61 litre tank), so i hope i should be ok! Just worried as it’s a newish engine / model of car. (2007)

It’s Bem brasil, can be expensive dependant upon what time you visit, but they have happy hours or various offers. It’s good if you like meat, meat and more meat! You have a red / green disc on your table, flip it to green for the waiter to put another animal on your plate, or flip it to red if you want a rest and they’ll leave you alone. It’s not a Mexican though!

You could buy a Wi-Fi only model then buy a ‘3’ Mi-Fi device which is effectively a mini 3g wireless router – the Ipad will pick up the signal and off you go – a 3g Ipad, saves you buying a data plan on a phone network, instead you can just buy a PAYG Mi-Fi if you’re gonna use it out and about, but you say you’re not really going too, but just incase…!

Get one from Tesco Direct via Quidco and get 5% cashback…not much but as the prices are generally held, it’s better than a kick in the slats.

Already sort of covered….empty some of the contents of the shredder into a colleagues umbrella and then close it back up, like i did last week….it’s still not rained yet!

The other one we done is filled a colleague’s car with balloons when he left his car keys on his desk.

Or in the office we have tall cupboards which have 2 slidey doors that meet in the middle. Open the doors and cellotape a load of newspaper inside (so it’s one big sheet) , so when they open their cupboard the next day there’s a large wall of newspaper!

Iphone users; download a free App called Onavo from the App Store; it compresses your data useage, so you get more for your money if you’re on a limited data package. i’ve used it since Sept and it’s very good.
