Seems Bolton gets a lots of votes. My vote is Tibshelf on M1.

German ones are best IMO; decent sausages, hardcore adult literature, beer and tazers on sale!

You’ll have a great time, I quite enjoy it there. The pub at tossiide is good and you can park the car near there and ride in. Not much in way of shops so take food / provisions with you.i don’t think there is a charge at the moment however I believe the new trail head car park and centre open next weekend ; I’m sure someone will correct me..! I was there a few weeks ago when there had been a light snow dusting and it was pretty busy. Either way have fun.

The local rag suggests the moorside in Disley will be a naughty boys home. Shame, it’s a nice spot.

Lymm truck stop perhaps…interchange of M6 and M56. Secure but may have to pay to leave car there.

I did when she was younger however not too far , no more than 6 miles but she’s been on walks in the lakes and peaks and probably walks twice as much as I do! She comes out on shorter runs now a days up to 3 miles and has ran 10k’s with me. My mate has just got a puppy springer and he has been out with us on the bikes of rides up to 10 miles and has been ok but I’m a bit weary as he likes to run along side the bike and I often fear he will go under the wheels! I’d prefer to leave her on bike rides but happy to take her on big walks and runs. Springers are prone to arthritis in older age so you can put doggy equivalent of glucosamine and chondriten in their food.

Well I think a springer is a good choice but I would say that as I have a 10 yr old called Heidi and have done since a puppy. They’re pretty clever dogs and been good so far with children she has come across. She was easy to train and is pretty obedient. Getting them as a pup is good as you can train them and they require plenty of exercise as you know , but keep on top of this they are well stimulated and make a good family pet and a rewarding dog to own. Just my opinion…oh and they are bonkers but good fun. Heidi is 10 but you’d think she was 4…. Good luck!!

Edit – we are out at work from 7pm but now have a dog walker who comes in at midday and takes her out for an hour until the other half is home at about 4. She is ok with this as an older dog but as a puppy or younger dog I’d say they need company. Thankfully Heidi has never chewed or destroyed a thing in the house. I think that’s more good luck!!

I use Amanda who runs BodyZone in Cheadle Hulme. She also operates from the Galleon Leisure Centre in Parrs Wood. She charges £35 for 90 mins and is very good. Used to dealing with rugby players from Stockport Rugby Club! She’s fixed me a few times and i’d recommend her to anyone!

thanks for the replies so far folks . i’ve spoken to 3 again today and after 45 mins on the phone they agreed to cancel my contract without paying any fees and return the handset; this is all i want. Someone is supposed to be calling me back to arrange this; believe it when I see it.

Headed over there yesterday (hadn’t seen this thread unfortunately!) the Red Route was a boggy mess and as stated above you’d need some local knowledge to get you around the non red route tracks. Bit of a shame really, could be a good venue. Wont rush back!

RX-8s cost the price of a kidney to Tax, in excess of £400!

Someone already said that above ^^

The employer will want to cover their back to some extent …if he’s off for a long term and they want to dismiss in future then if your friend goes for constructive dismissal the employer will say they’ve done home visits etc and looked after his welfare,. Maybe I’m being synical and they’re just being a good employer. Either way support your friend and maybe take notes on his behalf .

No problem with the sentence . Granted he’s licked it but as above he was winding the police up and got helicopters and mountain rescue teams out unnecessarily .

my employer allows a union rep to attend (civil service) if they want or a friend to attend. It’ll be a general ‘how are you’ ‘what can we do to facilitate your return to work’ style visit i’d imagine. Is the depression as a result of a work related issue?

I have the Times sub for the Ipad so i’d imagine its a similar news paper style app; flick the pages and has a menu to skip to the areas you want etc. You cant read it on a browser either as you need a log in subsription to do that. You simply get a parapgraph preview.

I’ve had it a little while about 6 weeks on my S3 on Three. Makes it a bit quicker and a few new features. It also appeared to download a further update on Thursday , android 4.1.2.

I would, it’s also not insured, so when the driver smashes into your lovely shiney vehicle it’ll be your insurance that pays hence bumping up your policy.

Dont know the inns and outs of employment law but if you’ve raised issues of unrealistic targets and performance etc can you not try for Constructive Dismissal? I’d imagine they’d want to avoid this. As I say i dont know the inns and outs but I am sure a specialist in this area could advise.

You shouldn’t pay any import (customs) duty on goods sold from within the EU. Not sure why it’s stuck at Gatwick though, probably at the parcel post depot where it should be checked by UKBA to see if it’s a prohibited or restricted item.
