    205 gti clock light.
the most stupid idea ever, requires most of the dash to be removed to replace it

1.Remove the coin compartment or cover, open and lift up the bottom edge
    2. Pull off the heater knobs, wrap them in a cloth and use a pair of pliers so they’re not damaged.
    3. Remove the screws underneath the switch panel, take off the upper plastic
    4. Take out the ashtray
    5. Unclip the clock surround and take it off
    6. Remove the radio (just pull it out if the cables are long enough)
    7. Remove the screws and pull the lower plastic off by pulling the bottom edge
    8. Take off the wiring plug and pull off the clock
    9. Replace bulb

aracer, i dont think you understand motorsport

    its about men racing
yes women race too and are very good at it, but its fan base is predominantly male.
men who like to look at women.
hence no men in lycra in the pits.

comt to a mx race, or enduro, or track days, or rally, rallycross, etc etc
you will see the target market for the calendar

    Sancho

yes perfectly acceptable aracer and it might be promotional in workshops then if you dont like it in a workshop take it up with the workshop manager.
also lets not forget that we are but one country and our values are often at odds with other parts of the world.
So a global brand may upset a few in the uk, but please the majority of their market

Considering its a calendar they you have to buy then its a matter of choice, there are plenty of calendars of men semi naked for some on here and there are other calendars with kittens, and whatever you want to look at, I still have my Kylie calendar.
As maxxis is making tyres for all types of motor sport where women are often walking round the pits in tight kit, and on podiums then its up the the manufacturer to target their market.
its choice if you dont like it dont buy it.
But dont claim you are advertising a product if you bought it.

There is no mention of him hitting a tree in that report?

Do people know he definitely hit a tree, the report states his injuries were from falling forward.

I must have my cables right.

I need the curvature of the cables to be consistent.
for example the curve of the cable as it goes from the top tube to the seat stay for the rear mech must have a similar curve as the cable going down to the frint mech, the shifters cables must be the same and the front brake hose must have a fluid line, no excess and enough curve to allow it to flex easily without snagging, its the same for any section of cable.

Best thing they can do is advise you.
After all a fork and shock setup for one person can be crap for another, also set up can vary for sertain rides, depending how much you are prepared to learn about the set up.

I find it all quite easy to fiddle with.
first thing is sag, I go for between 20 – 30% sag, or even 40% sag on the scout.

But the rebound and compression, it depends on your fork and how you ride and the terrain, so no one setting will be correct for everything.

I susually work on wind everything off, then wind on all settings by a third. Then ride and get a feel for it. Personally I dont like a lot of damping, other people I know use a lot of damping.

I would recommend learning how it all works and take pleasure in your knob twiddling.

I wouldnt recommend setting up a cross bike to replicate a mountain bike.
You need more weight on your hands on a cross bike and Dont have your saddle too far back, I use a short lay back post and keep the saddle in the middle of the rails.
with a 110mm stem I am perfect, but its massively different to my mountain bike.

From a personal point of view, I need people around me to push me.

I am not a total lazy arse, but I find I am at my best when training with others, be that on the road, sessioning DH, or a turbo session, I went to a number of turbo group sessions that Tom Barras had deviesd to replicate a crit, and after three sessions, I could feel the difference, but those turbo sessions were tough, but as part of a group and with some encouragement I put more effort in than I could have done alone against a computer.
It also helped having Brit Tate alongside me.

I have worked with a number of XC national champions and the key is to get a road bike, and get with a group that are your level or better, to then train with them on the road and do some mountainbiking on the side.

This has worked for the people I know and they have won national and european xc titles.

a reasonabnle place to live would be Idle, or Greengates.

Once the station is finished then the house prices will start to go up dramatically, its a great location for riding, and is developing quickly.

Some great houses tucked away and some good indian restaurants and a couple of good pubs, but you have Calverley, Thackley, Esholt woods on your doorstep then Baildon moor, Bingley just a couple of miles away.

A friend of mine died when his dog shot him, it was horrific.

The dog had been injured by a shot when they were out lamping.

In his desperation to get the dog in the van and to a vet, he put the shotgun in the footwell and as he tried to get the dog on the seat the dogs claw caught the trigger and he was shot.
just below the chin and it took most of his head off.

its an awful accident and not very amusing.

I avoid riding in big groups because of all this crap.

If I do ride with a group I happily ride at the back, I am really not botheres who rides first or if there is a pecking order.

I dont ride trails, or trail centres competitively unless I am in an event.
Mainly because I dont want to risk crashing in to a walker, or in to an obstacle some local jobsworth has put on the trail, etc.
I only push it if i know there is a clear track and marshalls on hand and I am being timed. Other than that its just for fun.

I certainly dont buzz peoples tyres if they are slower then me, I slow up and then ride away from them

Settle is pretty poor for running, compared to the Peak district.
Even the 3 peaks are pretty boring in terms of trails.
and Settle has very little in terms of descent mtb trails.
It has some good roads for motorbikes and road cycles.

    how about Hope?
or head up to the lakes, only 40 minutes further.

Coed y Brenin would be betterer though.

I honestly dont want to go in to too much detail and forgive me if I dont spill the beans as it were.

But, really appreciating the thoughts of everyone.

Our landlord owns the brewery, and we are talking about all sorts, including getting more space from the flat upstairs and next doors shop (which is his wifes)
a lot to work through, but I still feel that in there somewhere is a viable business idea.

we are in Leeds, but dont want to say, though i am sure people who know me will know the shop, just want to get some ideas at moment.

but the proposer, currently runs some craft beer pubs and has a brewery, so would be only small scale bar, dont think Wetherspoons

oh well footflaps i had best stop paying the rates as i already pay a business tax.

all businesses should pay a business tax, as opposed to only those with a property or rented property paying an additional tax to corporation tax.

explain to me how its fair that a retailer pays a business rates tax and a self employed sparky pays nothing, no reflection of profit or turnover, staff anything.

    Sancho

They should scrap the whole thing and have a business tax.

it seems ridiculous to me that only businesses with premises pay.

how about all the self employed working from home not paying anything, but probably earning a lot more than many in the retail sector.

oh the irony, everyone on here riding round on chinese manufactured bikes bought online (typically) and then there is an expectation that everyone else sticks to buying british, even though its not british owned.

I wouldnt go to golden acre as there are no paths through it, only tarmac footpaths full of dog walkers in the daytime and doggers at night.

if you have transport and a fe hours why not go to Stainburn?

    Sancho

problem is that unless you know all the singletrack you will end up having a boring ride on bridleway.

One thing to note is that Leeds City council allow you to ride on the footpaths in the woods etc, as long as you are considerate to walkers.

I would use the canal to hit up esholt, then head over to horsforth woodside loop that then do meanwood and follow that back in to town

I dont think it is up to the countries to decide how many they will take, but more a case of where the refugees and economic migrants want to go.
Think its split 40% refugees, 60% economic migrants.
as has been seen in the balkans, its a case of the refugees and economic migrants wanting to get to Germany and Sweden.

Dont get on the front for the start unless you are planning on being in the to 10
you will just embarrass yourself and get in the way.

pump your tyres up hard 60 psi
try get in a group on the road sections, and sit in, better to keep your energy for the hills

enjoy it and remember its a race not a sportive.

lets not forget the murder of Khalid al-assad
beheaded and tied to the pillars of a palmyra column his head placed at his feet.

some people need a dose of reality

    Sancho
    Free Member

    who is the most barbaric?

    are you for real Kimbers.

burning the pilot alive in a cage?
    beheadings
    throwing people off buildings
strapping people in to a car before shooting it with an RPG
    drowning in cages
    mass beheadings,
    child executioners
    people digging their own graves
    explosives detonated around mens necks

i suggest you get a grip, and find out what is happening in reality.
