I suspect the reason I couldn’t find Peter Green named previously is that no one could choose a favourite from so many.

Worth pointing out (again) that NHS Supply chain function was wholly outsourced to Unipart, DHL & Movianto decade ago . So any expertise the army is bringing to the party is not down to a shortfall of NHS itself
And before anyone goes there it’s management function SCCL Ltd reports to and is owned by Matt Handcock again outside the NHS.

Had my bike stolen last year under full view of city centre Cctv cameras. The guy who does this is very well known and has been nicked with a shed load several times..
Phone call from plod “when was bike stolen”
    “not sure between 9 @ 5”
“Ohhh its policy, we don’t have resources to review footage longer than 2 hours”
Me “Well just fast foward till it’s not there anymore”.
Long mute pause ” No sorry it’s policy”

Loose & rocky & hilly along the Algarve.
Sandy inland with cheap beer and food.. Weather warm in the sun most of winter with odd rainy days. Spring is my favourite.
Loads of races during the winter since summer is to hot to compete.

The spores seem to get spread by cycle tyres. Many of my favourite trials are neatly bordered by fungi. Useful at night. Noticed the east Europeans are out collecting them with wicker baskets made like rucksack

@2AvSagas Fare evasion is fascinating and TfL have done a bunch of interesting papers on it over the years. And the London lessons are very applicable to NY. Let me grab my laptop and a beer from the hotel bar and I’ll do a quickly summary of findings. https://twitter.com/garius/status/1186342186062925826?s=17

Had exactly this recently. Could feel the rotor “spokes” shredding away at pads. Used a couple of washers to move whole brake out a couple of mm so that the overhang is on the smooth radius outside. But now get loads of squeal and drag.

I kind of manage about 6 miles of public trail that I have created.

Keep it simple, never use wood, only soil & rock for features.
Sort drainage with cambers to stop puddles forming.
It’s more ìnvolving to adapt natural features and existing animal trails rather than just imposing your own features. This also makes it easier to revert back trails which don’t work

Don’t dig robber trenches every where, instead try to find a single source of gravel to quarry.
Place obstacles to stop yourself squaring off the trail corners.
Replant any broken soil like the back sides of back sides of berms & sides of ramps.

Since its your own land consider using a systemic weedkiller to entirely take out brambles. They are the biggest time killer.

    I envy you. Enjoy

Bear in mind . When touring and heavily laden. Disc brakes breaking force transferred to tyres via the spokes.

Can I just say to anyone using a solution like squidlords. Try also using Macro Express. It’s a keyboard emulator so no programming required. Just list the Excel & Word ribbon short cut keys for your process and set a hotkey activation

I have to do this kind of stuff daily & I find the fastest way is to keep a second spreadsheet with a cascading formula builder that concantentes any new phrase, (or in you case abbrivation) I add to the list.in columns C & D

    So three columns FUNCTION, C16 = LATEST-ORIGINAL, D217=LATEST-REVISION

Then in Cell E217 copy down  =CONCATENATE(E216,”,”,C217,”,”,D217) which copies the formula line above (E216) then adds your new phrase.

You can build massive formulas in seconds.  For example this strips out numbers

    =(CLEAN(SUBSTITUTE(SUBSTITUTE(SUBSTITUTE(SUBSTITUTE(SUBSTITUTE(SUBSTITUTE(SUBSTITUTE(SUBSTITUTE(SUBSTITUTE(SUBSTITUTE(SUBSTITUTE(SUBSTITUTE(SUBSTITUTE(SUBSTITUTE(SUBSTITUTE(SUBSTITUTE(SUBSTITUTE(SUBSTITUTE(SUBSTITUTE(SUBSTITUTE(SUBSTITUTE(SUBSTITUTE(SUBSTITUTE(SUBSTITUTE(SUBSTITUTE(SUBSTITUTE(SUBSTITUTE(SUBSTITUTE(SUBSTITUTE(SUBSTITUTE(SUBSTITUTE(SUBSTITUTE(SUBSTITUTE(B9,9,”|”),8,”|”),7,”|”),6,”|”),5,”|”),4,”|”),3,””),2,”|”),1,”|”),0,”|”),CHAR(42),”|”),CHAR(43),”|”),CHAR(44),”0″),CHAR(45),””),CHAR(46),””),CHAR(47),””),CHAR(58),””),CHAR(59),””),CHAR(60),””),CHAR(61),””),CHAR(62),””),CHAR(63),””),CHAR(64),””),CHAR(91),””),CHAR(92),””),CHAR(93),””),CHAR(94),””),CHAR(95),””),CHAR(96),””),CHAR(123),””),CHAR(124),””),CHAR(125),””),CHAR(126),””)))

Lock the last one down /ec / esv ENTER ENTER    & copy across into a new column of your sheet & Jobs a good un

As has been said above. Setting a reserve is bloody expensive on Ebay. They want things selling cheap to attract more buyers to their service.  Not great for sellers though especially durable things like bicycles

with the dates and types in B10 & G6

Interesting that by far the biggest cost factor in the NHS is staffing, of which 30%, goes straight back to the inland revenue.

Paying hugely high interest rates of PFI schemes due to “risk” is a bit bonkers as well. Given they are government backed. Wouldn’t it have been better to use NHS Pension Fund money to fund PFI

Outsourcing the NHS’s purchasing, warehousing & delivery organisation to DHL has also been a massive disaster, as their “cost+” pricing disincentivises them from agressively persuing better prices

I also wonder about the cost to the American economy, of having a half-fit workforce, carrying ailments they are unable to pay to have treated.

Ah so no doubt Jordan Peterson has received a similar amount of death and rape threats? No? No.

Whilst I know proving a negative is difficult, proof please.</span>
