So you advocate ‘Member of Parliaments’? Why not MsP?

Nor by using a beefburger, we could have a long thread about how we would not do it. However, I wanted to know how it should be done.

How then might you pluralise the abbreviation of Member of Parliament?

Cutaway colalar and narrow tie? With a cuataway, you want a nice fat knot. Maybe a windsor, but of course James Bond doesn’t trust anyone wearing a windsor, somconsider a dimpled half-windsor or maybe a Pratt.if you’ve gone cutaway, the avoid the four -in- hand

Wow so much to,cover. Originally studied in a seminary, subsequently; army cadets, football apprenticeship, fast jet pilot, blew out and spent years hustling pool, cocktail barman, failed as a professional gambler, returned to army invalided out. Raced stock cars! Tried my hand at farming. Took up law back in the military, moved to civilian practice nearly took my bar exams but felt too much like a vampire. Recruited by the secret service, left to become a sports agent. Retrained as a doctor and wrote a self-help book. Got amse and offer i couldn’t refuse and went back to the secret service for one job. Went into publishing off the back of my book. Worked for the police, became a samurai for a while until the Meiji restoration thendrove atxi for a while and all kindsof stuff since. Too much to go through here.

Why not take a monopod instead, doubles as a walking stick if you need it.

Buy which ever manfrotto you can afford

Or maybe a gastropod, for slower panning

I reckon Paxman was well within his rights to have a go at her. He was asking her some straight forward questions which she was reusing to answer. They were a matter of public interest and she witheld that information. She needs to be answerable to the public and if she tries to avoid that responsibility then she needs to be taken to task about it.

No, but really, DNS can’t predict transition yet can it? I take it by low Re, you mean laminar flow?

    SamCooke

Complexity and Re is increasing with computational power available.

True, yet there are many here who would remove Re from the school curriculum

We can’t accurately model turbulent flow, only approximate it – there’s currently no way to precisely predict when flow will change from laminar to turbulent, for example.

Surely not being able to model it is not the same same as not understanding it. It’s a stochastic process and we understand the mechanisms which govern the flow. Of course we can’t predict the random effects, but that doesn’t mean we don’t understand them does it?

But, given the massively overwhelming, peer reviewed evidence, we accept that it exists – I don’t understand string theory, but it’s a better hypothesis than ‘fairies did it’.

1)There’s no evidence to support string theory either is there?
    2) What do we not understand about turbulent flow in pipes?

Those are largely banal meaningless statements. Try reversing them and stating the opposite view and you’ll see that the opposite is nonsense. It demonstrates how little is being said in these statements

Panasonic TZ30 unless you want to spend a bit more and go for Fuji X10.
TZ30 has CMOS array, gives you better quality, and ISO goes to 3200, if you’ll ever need it that high / low

Lets take forced marriage as an example. As a society we have deemed these to be morally wrong though ,one would assume, the perpetrators dont agree. Do we just shrug as say it’s just a personal thing?
