what sort of wood should i use for north shore? we will have the use of a mini digger at some point during the summer, so i will try to take advantage of that.

red wouldnt work with my blue merida though. i cant decide between white or black. how long are they? the reason i ask is that i bought some sunline mushroom grips but they are too long :?

you go through barber booth coming from manchester just before you get to edale, just as you come out of the tunnel. coming from sheffield, it is down to the main road from the station and then turn left. hope that helps.

i like that route. i had a look on tracklogs, and it looks like only 3 big climbs, which is nice :)

salcombe is amazing, well i think it is anyway. but stay on the east portlemouth side rather than the salcombe side if you prefer peace and quiet to lively evenings at the pub.

when i have worn shin pads rather than just my kyle straits, i used 661 veggies, but i find these get very hot over just an hour, never mind a long ride.

i live in between whaley bridge and chapel-en-le-frith, so i am fairly local, but i wont be able to get a ride in before next saturday after this weekend. i might be able to get out tomorrow or over the weekend, but im not making any promises.

i would love a pair of 5 tens, but my feet are still growing and if i spent £70 on a pair, then i wouldnt have that much money left for anything else.
