its snowing gently here (near whaley bridge) but my mum said there appeared to be no snow on kinder, so it could just be local. and im ill! i am determined to come though, if it is anything like the last one, it will be great fun :)

i seem to cope fine with flats, and i think i would hurt myself alot more using spd's. the amount of times i have saved myself by dabbing is too large to count. i use super cheap wellgo pedals and shimano am40 shoes, not slipped yet :D i have never really had a problem with flats on a tech climb either.

springer spaniel, then lab, then perhaps border collie. the reason i say perhaps is that we had a very traumatic time with our last collie, she was psychopathic and thought the world was out to get her. she bit everyone in our family at least once apart from me. we contacted the collie rescue centre and, very traumatically, decided to have her put down. we now have a springer spaniel called ben, 6 months old and as mad as a hatter, but we all love him.

looking forward to this now :) thanks to the persuasion of bunnyhop, and lending of the bike from will for a short while, fellmarvin collected his scott cx team yesterday, as ridden by Fred Salmon in the 3 peaks last year. and for an absolute bargain considering the spec on it is better than standard. different rims and fsa k force cranks are some of the upgrades on it, but it could be lighter still if te tyres were changed. i still dont have my brake back though :(

it would be me that paid if i wanted some new brakes! so tektro aurigas are just fine, they seem to work fairly well so far. having said that they are either on or off, unless i am very gentle with them, and thats jus not me :D
