Do you use the big ring? If you do but rarely, just go for something like 36/22.

Just got my groupset, but snapped my slx chain a put a sram chain on and it’s silent. Was very noisy with the standard shimano chain.

That Ukranian tractors book isn’t actually a whole book about tractors in Ukraine btw. It’s hilarious though.

Peaks. If you’re there in conditions like today you will know why. And if you’re not, tough luck.

Best: Jersey from aldi, warm enough for me to have just that and 2 base layers in the Peaks on saturday.
Worst: Shimano AM40’s, purely for the fact they are now too small :( Great shoes when they fit though.

My mum told me a hilarious one. At Overbecks, the national trust property above the Salcombe estuary, there’s an information board about pirates. A dad asked his daughter what she thought the pirates did with the treasure they stole. She said “sell it all on ebay.”

We also went down, it was definitely easier riding than walking. And I wont tell a soul ;) It was so quiet anyway, i dont think anyone would have minded. The car park at Bowden Bridge had one car when we went past this afternoon!

We were a group of 13, so you would have known if you’d seen us. Did you go up or down the cobbles?

Such a good ride! The only time i overtake people on descents is when it’s icy, but that’s probably just me being an idiot. Very icy though, probably fell off 5 times going up from Peep-O-Day.

I’m guessing the Lakes, no idea where though. Just because of the way you said it might cause an issue.

Fsr xc 2009 comp frame, slx 3×10 groupset and clarks skeletal brakes. Building it on christmas day :) but also :( because i have to wait that long. And i will inevitably have forgotten something and Bike shops wont be open until the 28th at the earliest.
