Air BnB it? I used one in early Jan 10 minutes drive from the city centre that I’d recommend

From what I’ve seen on the Morzine Seasonnaires facebook page, definitely not MorzExpress. A donkey would likely be more reliable than them by all accounts.

I’ve got one, been using it for about 4 weeks. I bought it as a stop gap until I had the funds for a proper dropper post, and whilst it’s better than a QR and normal post, it’s not really comparable to a proper dropper. I’ll be upgrading sharpish, but I may well end up keeping it for when whatever dropper I get eventually dies.

Definitely 3×10. Cheers Chakaping, assumed that might be the case! Any idea if it’s a Process specific issue?

Pretty sure cranks are fully pushed in, used a mallet to make sure! No spacers as it’s a pressfit BB. Sram GX cassette

Apologies, didn’t make it clear that I’m using 1×11. post edited to clarify!

Yep, riding Wharncliffe. Expecting to spend more time on the ground than on two wheels.

Most recent Essential Mix is from DJ Pierre to celebrate 30 years (apologies if someone’s already posted and I missed it!)

Spent a week in the Pyrenees last summer. My main tip is to make sure you’re not there too early in the season for the lifts to open. We were there mid-June and no lifts were open anywhere. Some amazing trails in Bagneres de Luchon, we had no guide so used Strava to find them, which worked well. If you’ve got a car, I’d suggest heading over to Ainsa for a few days, rode the best trail of my life there in the only dry day of a very wet week. Saint-Lary Soulan also has some excellent riding, with a printed map available in the bike shop in town that has loads of riding on.

Yeah, just bought an XL 153 frame to build up over christmas. It’s got a Monarch+ on it currently, but the shock shaft is showing signs of wear so it’ll need replacing at some point. How do they pedal without any climb switch?

Are normal DB air shocks reasonably safe on a Process, or do they suffer the same fate as the Inlines?

Synthetic if you’re out in the rain, down if it’s just for blue skies.

Synthetics: I wear my Montane Prism ALL the time, and have done for the last 4 years. It’s still going strong and hasn’t needed any TLC bar washing it once a year.

Echoing the above, a 29er with similar geo and 130mmish travel will have me selling any organs necessary.

I rate my WTB asym i29s on Hope Pro2 Evo hubs, not particularly light but gave my 2.35 Schwalbe tyres a really good profile and they’re mega strong. I’ve smashed them into some sneaky rocks in the peak and they’ve remained straight and true, despite it being me that built them.

If this is a 29er frame I’ll really struggle to say no…

Ghost SLAM R, BMC Trailfox, Cotic RocketMax, Yeti SB5.5, plenty to be looking at.

Orange have something in the pipeline too

I’m using Magic Mary/Rock Razor currently, but in Supergravity casing as I got bored of punctures. Completely stopped worrying about punctures now, though I did add some air to my rear tyre to save the rim from getting smacked into things too often.

Not really sure Podge, I like the way it looks as much as anything else as I’ve not ridden any of these frames yet anyway.

Both of those get my recommendation too, though I can’t imagine the beer gardens are seeing much use today…

My Giro Chambers have been ace for everything including Helvellyn, cleat plate has delaminated from the vibram sole but some glue should sort that no bother.

Fit of the suit will make more difference than anything else in my experience, provided the seams are stitched/sealed in the same way. For what it’s worth, C-Skins seem to be very tall for the size, in that I’m 6’3″ and wear a medium (rather than the medium-tall I’d be expected to wear). My 5-3 Wired has been the best outdoorsy kit investment I’ve ever had, so warm throughout the year in north wales, the brainfreeze is hard to avoid but the rest of me stayed warm!

Magic Mary works really well on a 30mm rim, as does a Rock Razor.

You might struggle to get one for more than a day from anywhere, meaning it’ll probably be easier to hire them at each new location you ride at, though this might restrict your choices slightly.
