i work in a supermarket and wheel my bike through to the back where i keep it all the time. Managers tried to ask me to lock it outside but have always been understanding when i explain to them how much it's worth etc.
If i was shopping though i wouldn't expect to be allowed to walk round the store with my bike, purely because if you let all the stwers in with their 5 grand uber-bikes then you've got to let the little scroats in with their bmx's with one red tyre,

I were up there yesterday. Tagged along with my mate tex who was invited up by a few of the diggers to go ride some of the new stuff. Got there a little early so we helped out for a while surfacing some of the new hand dug woodsy single track. (if you’re gonna dig, take some midge repellant)
The Hard labour paid dividends though when we got treated to a preview of some of the new trails, A great mix of hand built st, machine built st, little tech berms, bowled out berms, mahoosive bermed out wallrides, rollers, double-able rollers, kickers, rollercoaster g-outs, tabletops, hips, rock gardens, drop offs, all on a variety of trail surfaces, tech, but not intimidating. Unfortunately all these goodies are interspersed with sections of motorway fire road but you gotta earn your treats right?

Definitely worth a visit, pop up on a Sunday morning, help dig for a while then go reap what you’ve sewn.

the top capacity for a 7800 dura-ace rear mech is 27 teeth according to shimano’s technical documentation, 28 for a 7900…. If I ran the 7800 i got with a 11-28 would one tooth extra upset the apple cart too much?

goin from that… i should be able to get away with it just maybe…. I run double and bash up front 34-24 so that’s 10 plus the 17 from the 11-28 if i can coax it into running ok makes 27…. i’ll update when i get an 11-28 and have two useable top cogs… for now i’ll just man up and stay in 3rd.
