What D0NK said, it’s not that unusual for wheelchair users to be able to stand or even walk a little..

I was getting a bit jittery riding the tram into town today across the viaduct through radcliffe…..

Hey Troutie i sent an e-mail to your blueyonder address on monday mythering you about sourcing some XPGs mounted on stars, I know you’ve probably got a whole heap of similar messages in your inbox but i was wondering if you’d had a chance to look at it yet?

ScottChegg- ok i’ll admit it’ve only heard parts of it (above bolton road west) referred to as upper ramsbottom perhaps jokingly……

errrr hang on. there is such a place as Upper Ramsbottom. It’s the top end of Ramsbottom, 5 minutes up the road from me in Tottington.
But i don’t think Jo Burt lives there..

What Del said. Fresh powdery snow is pretty grippy if you adopt the right approach, don’t stomp on the pedals and stay off the brakes. Re-frozen snow however, is an unrideable nightmare.

    Who said trigonometry is useless..
get a protractor, make yourself a plumb-bob from a piece of string and something suitably weighty, use these new tools and a tape measure to get your numbers, find out the the axle to crown length of the new fork and do the math. this would give you the static head angle, for your actual on the bike riding H.A. subtract your sag from your axle to crown length.. 😀

I watched it to see if the fabled ragley dropper post would come in a 27.2 flavour, and got my answer.
    *SPOILER ALERT*
    Doesn’t look like it will..
i always thought it’d be tricky with the too much gubbins, not enough space situation inside a 27.2..

I've owned both steel and ally frames and i've gotta say i've preferred the steel ones, though that could be due to factors other than the ductility of the chosen build material, though it could play a part. keep it steel.

G, I'm mocked for my disregard of riding specific gents fashion choices by some of my riding mates.
Usually i sport either carhartt cargo shorts or some more bike-suitable enduras, and whichever t-shirt is clean enough and matches whichever set of vans i'm wearing that day.
I've been known to resort to stealth lycra underneath for long day-rides but keep that quiet…..

though i've gotta admit, i do feel a little ****ttish doing it sometimes, same goes for sprinting.

as far as the trackstanding goes, i vary, if i'm arriving at the lights late and they're gonna change i'll slow roll then be forced into one as they invariably change 15 seconds after i reach the bike box, but if they hit red as i arrive then i'll usually get off, though sometimes i'll just wait in the trackstand, for a more rapid departure, what they really need is bmx style gates in cycle lanes so these sprinting folk can really get their snap on….

well yeah i kinda sprint.. as much as you can on a trailbike running soft offroad rubber. i thought it was normal? are we trackstanding at the lights pre sprint?
