Anyone know of any deals on handle bars? 31.6, 780/800mm with about 30mm rise. I brought a voodoo bizango and said I wouldn’t upgrade anything as I’ve zero will power and it’ll get out of hand but need to swap the bars as the front end is too low.

Bit of a follow up. Having been in contact with both hope and SRAM. SRAm stay the transmission is designed around a 55mm chain line but works absolutely fine at 52mm.

Hope mentioned the same but if I wanted to I could switch out to their “wide” axle. Anyways transmission ordered,

I’m currently rocking se4 and se5 front on my hb130. Really impressed with them

Thanks for the replies. I likely to stick with my luftkappe. The bike is a hope hb130 with the fork set to 150mm. The bike is used 70% for trail riding the the other 30 for enduro. Weight has been brought up a few times which has put me off.

Dragging this back up while on the hunt for a solution to snap the noise from my gx axs mech.csn anyone confirm if the x01 bolt kit in the link below prevents any forward rotation of the mech body?

<p style=”text-align: left;”>Went this weekend with my 6yo. I brought the uplift for myself. He got a free pedal pass and I brought 3 runs for him for £10.50.</p>
The driver loaded and unloaded his bike. As it’s only 20″ wheels it hangs from the front wheel and the rear is held on with a strap aswell as the usual bar straps.

I’m going this weekend with my boy. I was unsure so emailed and got this response.

    Hi Sam,

If you book yourself onto the uplift, you don’t need to book your son anything. He can get a free pedal pass on the day, and you can purchase single runs for him on the day.

These will be guaranteed if you book yourself onto the uplift.

Anyone got a long term review of this. Somthing that’s never interested me but at this price it’s worth a try. The idea or something going wrong and having no gears on a ride puts me off.

@DickBarton I have the same view, got a m/l fits ok but does appear to sit high on my head, l/XL is too big

Would the Arc ULTRA V6 wheelset be a good option for a gravel bike, also have the wtb option but not had much luck with wtb rims in the past. 19mm internal ok for 40c tyre?

I had this on my 2018 t130s, frame was out of alignment the same as your pictures. Whyte dealer sorted a 2019 model under warranty as Whyte didn’t have any frames left

@drew can you share how to remove the axle? The press fit between the axle and crank arm is making a very annoying creak when putting the power down on the non drive side crank. Hoping removing, greasing and refit would sort it.

I was on a waiting list for around 12 months before I got docs via email to be signed. Currently have 3 academy bikes, two waiting to go back, your instructed to email to sort returns, it’s a slow process. Sometimes you’ll have more luck getting blood from a stone over a reply. Our current bike has an issue which as yet to be resolved as nobody gotten back to me, delivered with two right hand pedals. The bikes are fantastic if your into the hope bling, just wish the communication throughout was better, even basic questions to unanswered

Thanks for the replies. Found balfes bikes had se4 for £29 each. Also £10 off when you spend over £30 for new customers so I got two. Look forward to trying them

I’ve just swapped from tech 3 e4 to tech 4 e4. Nothing overly wrong with the tech 3 just a hope fan boy and couldn’t resist trying some. Most of my riding is either trail centre stuff, stuff in peaks and Wales and longer xc stuff closer to home. The tech 4 seems to have alot more power and it’s taken abit of getting used to after using tech 3 for years. For what your doing tech 3 sounds fine

Quick update regarding my wobbly tyres. Emailed r2 bike who requested pictures of the remaining tread, after this they emailed shipping and customs labels to me. I dropped of at post office expecting not to hear much for a few weeks. 5 days later they have refunded me for my maxxis reckon (as I requested as no stock for month) and dispatch email for a new dissector which is with DHL on its way to me. Easier than I expected

Ended up doing the short loop that @ebennett posted. Had a fantastic day, felt like I was melting on some of the climbs with the heat today.

@devash was r2 bike unfortunately. Only place who has stock at the time of ordering which wasn’t a stupid price.

Thanks for the replies. I’ve contacted the supplier although it was from a German site so might be hassle. Once warped do they fail at all, ie a blow out? Going to ladybower tomorrow. Probably worth swapping out for something less wobbly lol

Thanks for the replies. Assegai now fitted upfront. Definitely feels like it has more grip. Might have slightly more drag but if so not much. I do have a 2.4 dissector which I will try on the rear , guessing this is slightly faster than a dhr?

I have auto sync with Strava turned on. The route was created by someone else, I added it to my bolt using an app called Strava to gpx, something I’ve done many times before with zero issue.

I’ve contacted emailed wahoo so will await a reply. In the mean time I’ve signed up to the free trial on Strava premium and saved the route to Strava which has stayed on my wahoo now. Very odd

I’m currently using Dmr death grips. I think they are thick and soft sizing. At the moment I’m mainly riding longer xc rides, bridleways, gravel tracks etc, between 30 and 40 miles on my t130, atm trail riding leaves me in pain fairly quickly hence the easier stuff. The issues with my hand, shoulder and arm have been on and off for a few years
Getting treatment but I csnt see it going anywhere fast so looking at anything that will reduce the vibrations through my hands upwards

With the lower limit I think sram say to set it without the chain off and have the jockey wheel teeth on the outer edge of the teeth of the smallest cog. Have you done it this way?

    sam1988
    Free Member

Yes. I’ve had the post out a few times with carbon paste, then just greasez also had the internal clamp out, cleaned etc with no change

Yes. They are more like 2.5 wide but have a fair bit of volume to them

Used a few companies before. The last was j tech, forks and shock full service, rear shock had custom tune to suit a Meg neg air can, couldn’t believe the improvement both ends after they worked their magic.

Rsf also my go to for creaking or replacing steerer tubes etc
