It would be even better if you were riding a tandem and got to cut someone else’s arm off, it would be so much more exciting than walking off to get them help. :D

You’d be better going two doors away to L’Atelier
de Joël Robuchon but thats if you want nicer food, The Ivy is a place where people go to be seen, at the end of the day it’s your cash, have a look a Robuchons gaff on the net anyway for maybe next time.

Just as well then they weren’t throwing bags of these.

N***er babies, sold in Canada under that name until a couple of years ago.
Black licorice flavoured candies formed in the shape of a small person with their arms down at their side. They are approximately 2″ tall by 1/2″ wide & thick. N***er Babies were sold as such for decades, until the later 1980’s-mid 1990’s when their name was changed to Licorice Babies to avoid derrogatory racial use of the word N***er being ingrained in children’s vocabulary as acceptable.
In the 1960’s N***er Babies were two for a penny. (one cent) Can you believe they’re a nickel (5 cents) each now?

You could use the pecorino cream in some lasagna. The artichoke is lovely as I’ve used it before, make some gnocchi and use it as a base sauce, fold through some baby spinach and shaved fennel and finish with some parmesan. The Italian Spam is nice but not as nice in my opinion as the spanish, can be put through a cream based sauce with some spag and clams, or just stick on some crostini, room temp as it isn’t nice cold.

Replace the doors with a window thats tilt and turn so that it can still be used as a fire escape, that way the kids can’t get out, ventilation sorted too. Try and get a miss measure from your local window company, there are normaly some to be had.

Bug a cheap stone from Nisbets online £4.00 and a really good quality steel, Wusthof diamond are good £60, I stone my knives two or three times a year and the rest of the time it’s the steel, Global don’t keep an edge well as I remember some lads years ago in the kitchen complaining. I use my knives every day being chef, depending on how often you use yours you may be fine with just a cheap stone.

I had one, all aluminum tubes which were anodized red with polished, lovely to look at, the fecker who bought it wanted to pay in installments but never gave me all the cash, the tube popped out of the lug while he was sprinting lol, that was priceless:-)

A goose normally serves 4-6 people but no more than that, I’ve confit leg on the menu at work at the moment, mire cost effective than than a whole bird, you might want to look at getting those instead.
