I use the michele thomas cd’s and I just left em on in the van not thinking they were working but when I got to france I amazed myself in my french communication, just leave em playing

Sorry I cannot help on the multi save offers bit but I paid about £70 last year from B&Q for about 80m ( 4 bed house )of 170mm rockwool to get my levels to 270mm and it was worth every penny

Part of my loft was boarded out with T&G boards and I found there was no insulation beneath em, I stuffed the whole lot with shredded rockwool and it did the trick a beaut ok its only 100mm but with the insulation provided by the floorboards perhaps it is enough and I doubted the value of putting “some height” into the loft. I have had a look at our roof when there is a frost down and the roof is white now with no thawed out spots so it is obviously working :D and the wife is not moaning about being cold 8O

We Also had the cavity walls done last year to on a free grant and the combined effect is brilliant the boiler is working alot less

My oil consumption has been halfed this year ok it is not so cold but at £700 a fill the insulation is worth every penny basically it has paid for itself already

I would not buy another 8O

I know what you mean ( 5’8″ size 9 feet) I have a medium Kaff and a pompino with a 130mm stem and drop bars the fit is ok for me but the overlap is awful when guards are fitted but no worries without them. Tis a shame realy because they ride realy well, so well I binned a Lite(shite)speed because the handling was not a patch on the kaff

I will be replacing the Kaff next year for a Roadrat because my back can no longer do drops.

Gillette 7 o’clock sharp for me with a Mhule R89 razor, I found with the feathers it was a bit harsh.
But lets be honest with shaving what suits one person does not necessarily suit another

Exactly the same set up for me. May be my technique but found the 7 o’clock sharp and feathers to be about the same sharpness but the feathers didn’t stay sharp for as many shaves

But on the same score I also have a Mhule R41 and it is a evil razor and I cut myself to bits with it even with the 7o’clock blades

I find that moving up from a 160 to a 180 gives me alot more power at the expense of “feel” and it is not so featherable
But on the back I always run a 140 disc because I do not want alot of power at the back end because a locked wheel does not grip

Going back to my motorbike days 70% of all breaking is dome by the front brakes and the rear is for control think about it motorbikes have a double disc front and a small disc at the back

I know of one guy who is a sponsored rider and he gave his 29er back and went back to a 26er, the main reason was it was not as much fun to ride

As for speed over his favorite loop there was nothing in it between the 2 each one had its benefits in different parts of the loop but the “29er was not fun”

on the same score I do know riders who are chuffed to bits with there 29ers
