oh as opposed to current limiting, I did not realise they used PWM ( pulse width modulating ) drivers. Are all LEDS dimmed using pwm drivers???

mind what the hell did I expect for £50 there was bound to be a issue somewhere,

    Main beam is brill though

I was out last night with my “Bastid” and on main / high beam it is superb better than my old HID

But the low beam has a bit of a potential issue in that it flashes I descovered this because as I was riding along the wheel appeared to be stationary with the stroboscopic effect, I did not like it at all and some folk who are sensative to flashing lights may have a real problem.

But 3 hrs on high will be more than enough riding time for me

tbh I do quite like the “o” ring fitting on mine ( remember the old lumicycle set up with ty raps now that was pants)

infact I am well chuffed but the strobe mode is not a usefull idea and the charger is designed for american sockets but I got a adaptor from maplins for £1.99 so no issues there

think what im trying to get at, is your light looks f’ing ace compared to the ‘bastid’.

Yes I agree but with the “bastid” on my bars and a dinotte on my bonce I will be well sorted

To think not so long ago I was realy happy with the brightest lights going with my old HID which had almost half the lux output of a p7 tourch

    saladdodger
    Free Member

Well I have just got my “bastid” light and i am mighty chuffed

I compared it to my P7 tourch and found the light output to be very differant, the mte ssc p7 tourch is a very white light, yet the Bastid is slightly er green as reported by others. But as a light on the lawn and trees it gave a more detailed light in that the grass and my trees seemed more 3D where as the p7 light just seems in comparison to “flatten things”

I will be in touch soon Mr T for your assembly mods

Bottom line I am well chuffed

Just for the record I was on the jobseakers allowance at £62 a week that was not enough to fill my fuel tank to find a job, and to top it off I had to travel 15 miles to sign on every 2 weeks (no collecting at the post office) yep on me bike for me

But still I am a bloke who has worked all my life and paid tax’s for the last 31 years so why should I expect a bit of return for the bad times 🙄

Yet some young lass get’s up the duff and then gets the friggin lot 👿

Thank fug I got a job quite quickly

But I do have a thought on where to lay some of the blame

I am a child of the early 60’s and there was this bloke called Doctor Spock ( no bull) who started a revolution by saying that you should not slap etc children but you should reason with them!

Shame my old Pa didnt listen (Thanks Pops)

So now here I am pushing 50 and by rights I could easy be a granddad

So If I was brought up with no dicipline or pride, early 80’s I have a kid not knowing about disipline, now my kid has a kid in the late 90’s

What do we have the makings of this society we live in today

MMMmmm! Amicable you say? I guess this has only just happened?

If that’s the case then wait for the fireworks……there aint no such thing as an ‘amicable’ divorce.

My advice – don’t be a numb-nutts like me – give her f all; she’ll hate you no matter what.

Read this thread in 18 months – 2years time and tell me it aint so.

Sorry hate to say but he is right still to this day I do not slag off my ex but she was real difficult after she left
