The only sensible way is to eat less and move more

Agreed but when you have tried everything and get no where but miserable you do get desperate

but she is happy and she deserves that it is not as if she is anorexic her bmi is still over 25

That is sad he was a great start to the day especially with the "janet and john" stories

But at least her is getting off when he is on top and not dragging along like a few otheres

My wife has had weight issues and you name it she tried it, I felt sorry for her because it was not as if she sat round all day and was lazy which is a common misconception

So she has been on a Lighterlife diet plan which is only about 500 calories a day which she has followed to the letter and she has lost a steady 3lbs a week totaling hell of a lot in 3 months and her bmi has dropped 13 points

She looks fantastic and she is alot happier in herself

serious question, for those of you who have been unemployed for a while, is it there is no work, or is it there is no work you would consider?

tbh in the south west there is not alot going on I am an electrician and there is bugger all, but I am not the only one from the building trades to have this issue.

Bottom line like everyone else I have bills to pay and I will do anything because even on the national minimum wage you are far better off than £62 on the jobseekers allowance

And bloody tescos have enough shelf stackers 😕

thats agency work for you I guess, problem is full time jobs are a bit few and far between at the mo

Still I have just had a 5 month run of work and it could of been worse

I can understand his attitude especially when you have people like Knottie riding because his off road antics on the Q's did cause a complaint to the police for dangerous riding from ramblers

    Dam hooligan 😉

Not a very good way to attach to my frames so I tyrap the battery to the top tube

    saladdodger

It is not a fault of the frame to be fair the chainrings are a bit er worn I had the same on my old full susser which the running gear came off

Mind with the way I fall off on a regular basis it will be the least of the damage

I have gone back to a steel hardtail after years of full sus riding, the problem was I enjoyed riding my Cotic Simple s/s too much.

I realy like the cotic but they are too bloody expensive nowadays, and I used to have a inbred s/s which I liked

So I hads a go on a mates 456 SOLD ordered one immediatly, built it up tuesday and I have not had the chance to ride it yet 😥 bummer, at £125.01 you cannot go wrong

But with xt groupset thomson post and stem, Mav sc32 forks etc fully built it come in at just under 26lbs and looks the mutts nutts.

    roll on tomorrow

    NO NO NO NO NO

If you get what I mean

I changed the oil of my Rev's in lowers and I used Fox Float fluid, result the forks hardly moved as the oil was too thick 😳 I strippped the lowers again and replaced the Fox Fluid with 15w fork oil lurvly smooth action as it should of been 🙄

why did you do that then

    saladdodger

    just a thought

Bike shops recommend you get your BB faced, is it because they sell sub standard frames?????

perhaps it should be done by them prior to sale

Is it not a bit like buying a new car and the dealer saying the tracking should be checked and adjusted before you drive because manifacturers do not build cars properly. bet you would not buy that car would you

Now I will be stoned for this but NO

I have a s/h simple and it is a bit nicer to ride than my old inbred but not hell and all

So I would of liked a soul to replace my trance but at £470 it is a huge hit when a 456 is only £125.01

So is the soul worth £344.99 more than a 456 sorry I do not think so

I have had delivery of a 456 today

you can use it on low if thats all the light you need then you can use the daylight setting if required.

But I would have a good look at Trouts (off this forum) lights first more bang for yer buck, or the deal extreme P7 bike light at £52 posted

Just sold a set of Titec H bars on this site, yes I can see they would be comfortable but I sold them because I could not be bothered to replace my brake hoses and also if I liked them I would have to buy 2 more sets for my othere bikes

    saladdodger

Dibbs tis true about the brake lever oh wise one, but it was a bit of a scare and I do not want a carbon fibres on/or in my body hence i am sticking to alloy

I used to use a USE inline post er about 20 years ago to be exact which was a inline post which used shims to fit the frame.
It flexed like crazy and made the ride comfotable
But I guess I should realy get a Thomson because yes they are the best
