I have the SC32 basically the same fork but less travel

reliable , easy to maintain and adjust to your style, divey yes but a change of damper fluid cured that.

Flex yes and no, in that frontwheel between your legs and yes they flex more so than my Rev's but when riding there is no flex

between the Rev,s and the sc 32's thats a hard one, Revs because they use a standard axel (mine do anyway) not a 25mm special hub and the bar mount lock out . Mavs because they are so easy to work on, but the lock down is on the top of the fork leg.

Hard choie but from the DIY aspect it is the Mav's every time for me

btw where are 90 odd % of all frames made yep Tiawan (?) and there labour laws I bet are few and far between.

    I can help you here

I had a 2006 Trance and the headset bearings were shot, so I tried a Superster semi intergrated headset

The bearings fitted the original cups a beaut they were the same bearings complete headset £15 and all the races went in the bin because only the bearings were used

But most cars dont have user serviceable shocks

True but most shocks on cars work without touching for a very long time and in the grand scheme of things we are only riding push bikes not moto gp bikes

BTW can you do the nitrogen charge to your damper??

And fit and forget on there cars till it fails the mot 😕

my thoughts are " if it ain't broke do not fix it"
