As for Chris Evans we will give him a go, but he has a very hard act to follow and he knows it

Born that fugly I guess 😕

Highside going down Weacombe in the Q's spinning out in top gear, apparantly I went 6' in the air and ended up at the bottom of a 12' ditch smashed my lid and fugged myself up a bit.
Guess I should of had a check up after , but still "stoopid is as stoopid does"

but any work on a gas appliance comes under the regs

    even the controls system ??

Excuse my ignorance but I do not know, controls can also include the timer / sat etc even diverter valves

    Yes

My Boiler uses a diaphram control on the diverter valve it appears to be a easy job to replace and it does not envolve touching the Gas so it could well be a DIY job, well it would be for me because I am a tight git ( just serviced my oil combi )

Well I have just done my first set of Getto tuless tyres using Nevegals dtc on mavic 317 disc rims using £3.99 20" tubes

Worked a beaut but my tyres had loads of holes in them ( enter Stans no tubes latex) using a track pump I pumped up the tyres as quickly as possable and rotated the wheels to spred the latex inside them within seconds all the leaks stopped from pssst to nothing it was amazing

They are now pumped up and ready to go hoprefully tomorrow and I do have high hopes for them

But all this weight saving bollocks using the wifes scales I saved about 30grams a wheel because ok you take out 3/4 of the tube but then replace it with latex fluid

But hopefully no more punctures for me, who knows????

Ok so how do you get the oil out in the first place??

    saladdodger
    Free Member

If your boiler is anything like my oil fired combi, it has a hot water priority setup in that with the heating on there is a change over valve that stops heat being supplied to the rads and puts it to the hot water.

If you turn the heating off do you get domestic hot water flowing when you turn the hot tap on??

My chargers from DX is a usa unit but it will do 110 to 220volts best you double check

A shaver adaptor is no use you need a USA to UK adaptor

Super star may be worth a look the s/s hubs look ok and a complete wheel is £99 I think and the hub was on offer for £45 a few weeks ago, I was going to get one but I had a deal on a Hope s/s wheel.

I have used a DMR hub for about 6 years and only just replaced the bearings bloody good hub realy but alas it uses freewheels WI are the best but I have been through a few bearings with them ( lots of folk have no issues to be fair so it is just me I guess) this is why I have gone for a cassette hub

    Too Tall

I took out the multi fuel grate ( jack of all master of none) from my 4kw hunter because to burn wood the multi fuel grate (lever operated) was a compromise for me especially with a small stove

So I took it out and now the whole chamber is used for burning purposes so I can get more wood in therefore more heat out and a longer burn time

btw I have bought a bigger Hunter stove for my othere place which is made as a wood only stove again because where it is going there is no shortage of wood so why compromise

    saladdodger

    slab

    efficientcy is the word

A open fire 20% heat into the room 80% up the chimney

A good woodburner 75% into the room 25% up the tube

bugger all ash due to efficient burning so less cleaning

you can still see the flames

also your wood in the burner lasts 4 times as long

    sorry thats about all

there is one plus thing about the URT, that is the fact there is zero chain growth so they can be used as a s/s

if that is a plus point 😕
