32-16 is the normal but I have just gone 34-17 the reason is I feel bigger cogs seem to roll better and the chain has a greater contact so less wear, also to go to a 18 at the back is not such a big jump

btw Constitution hill on a single speed well I would like to see that

The chap that fell off going down the Chimney on Saturdays Marin Demo day ended up with 8 stitches in his knee

that says to me that either there guide was irresponsable takinig inexperianced riders down the chimney , or he should not of been out in the first place

ok I will get my coat 😳

Sorry I just re read your post

Sounds like the main piston seal is passing air to the negative spring chamber creating a lock down effect like I had on my old Fox Shox

Bit of advice do not ride it off road you will hate it, it is easy to be gooey eyed but things move on.

I did like my 94 P7 but three frames later due to slipping seatposts the frame was returned for a refund and I got the S/Works

lets be honest the picasso does have a 90hp diesel engine at the front and it is hardly a er performance car

but it does do 50mpg 😀

You have a point Orangista but the S/works has a 1" steerer brakes that sort of work (canti's) I do not think it is worth the effort

But on the same semental score I cannot get rid of it mind, you it does'nt arf fly on the road

No Kimbers I am not saying that it is not safe for kids now, What I am saying is that parents do not feel that it is right / safe to let there kids out.

Yes the media is very fast in this age compared to when I was a kid in the 60's and back then perhaps ignorance was bliss because news did not travel

    Are you a parent ???

BTW I am a fan of a eye for a eye type of justice

    Read Jigsaw Man

Everyone deserves a chance of rehabilittation and redemption

TJ try just try and explane your thoughts to the parents of Jamie Bulger see how far that gets you.

Sorry but your soft attitude to society like a disease to the folk of this country who want to live in a safe society, where there kids can go out and play without being in fear of there safety ( bit like we could as kids)

Read "the Jigsaw Man" then come back

    am I a B-stard for thinking this

    NO

As for me 5 years ago got through a wifectomy which was hard, life going no where infact it was on hold and did the internet dating

Met up with a lass from Devon and it went well ( it was a 100 mile relationship) got the invite to move in, sold my place jacked a cracking job and went on a whim and it worked okay so the job situation has been a bit hit and miss but it was a good move

Now married again to a fantastic lass, planning our future to a place we bought in france ( haute vienne), problem is when is the right time to go. It is not just me anymore just a load more complications

    Life never easy eh 😕
