I use prestivo's on both of our cars we used to use Mitcheline(spelling sorry) energysavers and tbh we cannot tell the differance

The prestivos are half the price of the energysavers and we have never had any "performance issues" there again I do drive a Picasso the way it was designed

I have gone to a 34/17 because I find big rings seem to roll better, maybe because the chain bends less than arround smaller rings

Bees do not want to sting you because they will die

In 3 years of beekeeping I have been stung about 7 times and that is only because I was disturbing there hive.

I was sceptical when we first got them but now no worries

Yep we have 7 hives now , alas we lost one through the winter

In our front garden we have 3 hives hidden from the main road by a hedge, but last year we had a hive swarm jesus what a sight we kept a low profile but by hell did some folk run up the road

Oh my I did chuckle then I realised we lost a colony not funny all of a sudden

I went back to rigid years ago from suspension and on the local 11mile loop I was 4 minutes quicker

but it was a long time ago, 17 years ago infact with brand new Pace elastomer forks they were realy shit rigid was alot better back then

Should have gone for Stan's then
355 rims weigh 40g less than 717 plus no rim strip for tubeless conversion, so another 40g saved

Ok just rub salt in the wounds yer swine 👿

But who would of thought that a hope s/s hub and surly cog weights more than a poverty DMR hub and a White Industries freewheel

    saladdodger

    WARNING WARNING WARNING aroooga aroooga

I have had a set of 717 rims with DT comp spokes on a DMR hub and a white industry freewheel used for years no issues but I wanted to upgrade

So 717 rims with DT comp spokes, hope s/s hub and a surly 17t sprocket

    Nice eh ❓

But 30grams heavier than my old wheel FFS without rim strips, but they have now been ghettoed

OF you know I went tubeless well I slashed my sidewall open on something

Nobby Nicks are a bit thin on the sidewalls

I will have revenge on weacombe 😈 at least it was after the gate

perhaps not a good comparison but I have a Alloy/carbon Litespeed Anteres and it is bloody dangerous I cannot trust the handling of it the front end feels like it is going to wash out on cornering and I have to weight the front to make it grip. But it does accelerate well and climbs like a demon, but that is not enough for me

Yet I also have a Kaffenbak and Il pompino they feel much more planted and safe 😀

Planet X for me ( mind I have had 4 of there bikes and no complaints for any of them)

I feel that the hotel write up was very good and with alot of valid points

Not a bad issue but not the best one either the pics of the Quantocks were a bit poor and that poor chap in the bottom of the stream did not deserve the ridicule especially as he is a riding legend in the Quantocks

I have ghettoed several wheels did you pack out the rims with insulation tape first so you have to use tyre levers to fit the tyres onto the rim???
