I would of said my old steel S/works from 1995

But after being hung up for 7 years I rebuilt it and rode it last year, it was fugging horrable steered like a barge, canti’s did not appear to work (yes they were set up properly) and the head down arse up riding position hurt like hell.

No more mist eyed for me I sold it with no regrets

    Retro = backward

I use a R89 D/E razor and have been trying differant blades

Wilkingson Sword felt blunt from new
Derby blades cut me to bits
Merkur blades give a ok shave
    Feather/Gilette 7 oclock sharp superb.

I have tried the Bluebeards revenge shaving soap but I do not think much of it, Taylors is the one for me at about £7 a pot

Yes a good badger brush is worth it

BTW I ride a s/s Simple says it all I guess

Soul if you can afford it, my inbred was much harsher than my Soul (guessing the 456 will be similar)

er no I think my 456 is harsher than my old inbred

    I have a 456 and a Cotic Simple

the 456 is a holigan of a bike and the Simple is er well it makes me ride in a safer manner, it just handles differently

But yes the back end of the 456 is HARSH compared to the simple ( with the same tyres)

I would love to have a Soul but I cannot afford / justify it, but between a Carbon 456 and a Soul

Sorry the soul would win again

Buffalo Special Six when it’s really cold (it’s too warm above zero).
Pile lining and Pertex outer, with a great drop tail. I love mine for winter commuting

    Agreed

But used this on saturday on the Q’s fantastic shame about my toes though

Read my post yer chuffing ellirot irriot I did the grind bit

BASICALLY you reduce the pressure at the grouphead, less pressure = less flow

    It works .

What else do you need to know 💡

My coffee is now smoother and basicallly nice now

Please do not say I have issues with my grinding because I do not I am using a Rancillo Rocky grinder and I have tried all sorts of grinds and tamping pressures

Merkur blades were good but the feathers are a differant league
Derby blades just cut me to bits
Wilkingson Sword blades just feel blunt

We make our own soaps so we will make a Teatree whipped cream soap next week , see how it goes

I would question only using 1.5mm even on a single oven?
2.5mm for a single oven & 4mm for a double as a minimum in my book

Sorry but you will find that 1.5mm flex is ok for a 3kw oven, your kettle is wired in 1.5mm I think you will find. 1.5mm T&E is only rated at 12A according to the regs

I use the Muhle R89 ( thanks to a shaving post on this site last year) and I get the best shave every using it and I feel so clean afterwards

    http://www.shaving-shack.com/muhle-r89-double-edged-chrome-safety-razor.html

A good razor may seem expensive and short term they are but worth every penny 10 blades for £3.00
