I have just sold my 2 year old 456 which was in good nic for £95 and I only paid £125 for it so I lost 25% of its value in 2 years

Bet I loose alot more on my Soul if I sold it

Bang for your buck On One cannot be beaten they do ride well but for the first time in 8 years I do not own one

    But I have 2 cotic’s 😀

    Tootall

alas I feel you have limited knowledge ( and wear rose tinted glasses )on the subject of the armed forces and the kit they have.

Perhaps you listen too much to government spin. Or my forces contact are FOS

    Or am I wrong????

wasting your time tootall, cant compete with the daily mail circulation.

yea yea yea and the NHS is in good shape too as well as the education system with the grade going up all the time and not the standards dropping

The Pole is a guide rail for the ejector seat

BTW I read the I newspaper

Tootall perhaps I should say troops, middle east and armored wagons for a start

I am ex RAF and in the 90’s the Hercules fleet was suffering a cronic shortage of parts with planes grounded for ages and being “robbed” for parts just to keep other planes flying

Yet millions are spent every year so folk can say coor, ooh and arh etc

Curly68 ta for that I will badger neweys on thursday when I collect some kit I have on order.

Good point about the output in that I have seen a few lamps with a 200lm output but some range from 4 to 8w power consumption

    Any loss is sad.

I do question the need for the Red Arrows in this current climate when we have troops on the front line with shortages of essential kit??

My just built soul has 125mm forks fitted

I am 5’8 and ride a medium with a 80mm stem and riser bars the grips are about 1 inch below the saddle.

This set up for me is ace, it is not for everyone and you need to find what is good for you get the saddle height right then play with stem lenghts and heights. Your are best to go out by yourself and play with the set up

good luck be patient and happy riding

what oil did you use in the lowers???

I did my revs with Fox Float fork oil which was too thick and the forks would hardly move

Stripped em down again and put some er 10wt oil in Sorted back to full travel

on the same subject Kevevs I too have not used the heating as yet bloody oil is a horrendous cost.

My wife bought a er “baby Grow” fleece all in one c/w booties from Primark for £10 last year and she loves it ok she looks a bit er daft in it but she is warm.

TBH I want a baby grow to now but a snuggle well yes that makes sense

I had a 456 with a thomson post on it and the back end hurt it was too stiff
Changed the post to a carbon post and it improved the comfort quite alot

Changed the 456 for a soul problem sorted 😀

the problem with Hiviz is that it usually sticks out of the normal everyday stuff to grab your attention. With the increase of every man and his dog wearing it, it becomes less effective as any wearer just becomes part of the scenery.

it’s one of the reasons why industrial hi vis kit is changing colour and design to stand out again.

    well put agreed

unless of course its enclosed by an earthed metallic sheath, installed on the surface, for a single designated piece of equipment or buried to a depth of more than 50mm

er not quite if it is a socket circuit of less than 32 amps rcd protection is still required

Back to the OP yes if the circuits are not changed in any way yes there is nothing wrong with your consumer unit

But sorry you must be a bit daft not to get RCD protection for your house, Your consumer unit was fitted in the days of a Austin Allegro bet your car has anti lock brakes and airbags. How much time do you spend in a car????

The consumer unit you have is the same as in a house I had to test the day after a toddler was killed 15 years ago, I never never want to do a job like that again I cried afterwards . Would a RCD of saved the poor kids life most probably.

    Sorry but your choice
