Absolutely lovely bike and all the bike most of us will ever need. Only thing that holds me back is those size restrictions as others have mentioned. Just waiting for XL’s one day…..

I injured my knee back in April last year but didn’t think too much about it. Got progressively worse and after x rays, physio and finally an MRI I was diagnosed with a medial meniscus tear just after Xmas. Now scheduled for an op start of March. I’d agree there’s not usually constant pain with a meniscus tear. I can walk OK but kneeling or twisting is out of the question!

Is it just me or does it sound exactly like Jesus wants me for a sunbeam?

Send me a message if you do decide to sell – I could be very interested.

A couple of years ago we had a holiday cottage near Bellochantuy. I headed up the forest road from there amd there’s a nice little loop of Loch Lussa which is fairly obvious on a map. You can also go up the singetrack road from Campbeltown to get there and/or back round the road. Fairly short but a nice outing. There’s loads of forest roads though.

I ordered a replacement axle kit for a Surly hub on 19th April which was showing in stock.
Email confirmation that delivery would be before 6 May. Thought that was perhaps a bit long but given the situation waited it out, a week later still nothing. Their phone lines are switched off and they don’t respond to emails. I flagged it with my bank and I got a refund but still never had any communication from Triton. I really have no idea how they expect to retain custom with no service. It’s not unreasonable to expect some form of communication about an item in over a month. A quick search online suggests I am far from alone……

Does anyone run a LWB double cab van through a business so that they can claim van BIK rather than car BIK? Just interested if anyone had managed to clear these rules up yet?

I had pretty much the exact same procedure. One front tooth implant and I had a bone graft too. I’m sure I was about £3300 all in. That’s in Glasgow from what seems to be a fairly well respected implant specialist. Yeah, you could get it cheaper but I wouldn’t take the risk with something like that. Two years and no issues so far.

    Loads, they are great.

My favourite breakfast though is half an avocado, sometimes half a banana, tablespoon of almond or peanut butter, handful of oats, two or three dates and heaped teaspoon of cacao powder, topped up with almond milk or normal milk.

Not a great substitute for a chocolate milkshake, it is a great chocolate milkshake!

Elephant up the stairs is called The Great Beyond and wasn’t on any studio albums but was recorded as part of the Man on the Moon soundtrack.

I’d recommend Life’s Rich Pagaent from their earlier albums which loses some of the inscrutability (a bad thing for some) and where they started to aim for the big time with a bit more crunch.

New Adventures in Hi-Fi is a fan favourite and actually contains some of their best songs.

That said, most folks will start with Automatic and Out of Time which is how most people think of REM.

You’ll need a triple left shifter. But that should would work OK with a 9 speed front mech’

Old Sora will be cheaper. New Sora is nicer no shifter windows and both cables under the bar tape

This seems to be the go to guide for this stuff

    That’s a great link, thanks! :D

Cookeaa, V’s at the moment but I should have some cantis lying about if issues.

Aracer, my XT mech is so last century so I guess the cable pull will be the same as yours.

Thanks – so if I keep an eye out for a triple bri STI shifter that would likely work with the XT FD and triple crankset?
