I did suggest something briefly to you regarding this a while back. I don’t now if you remember. I thought this because it runs in my family and I recognise the behaviours associated with it.

Also, I have discovered my own brain is a jigsaw puzzle, not just the ADD/ADHD but a series of other comorbidities coming to light.
I don’t see any of it as a bad thing for me, if anything its helped my understanding of myself and how I interact with the world around me.

It is heavy though. Really heavy..what a journey :/

The sea is very cold…so you do want a thick wetsuit, but I dont recommend a cheap one.

Puncture, then awkward walk home for like 2 hours, wearing cycling shoes/cleats, and discovering dog shit on them when I got home.

For Tri it is too thick, but for surfing is fine for fair weather seasons, so mid spring till maybe october.

At the minute I am surfing with a 5/4/3 mm and in the next month it will be it will be time to move down to a thinner suit.

The one you are looking at is a 3/2.5 which is good for summer weather when the ocean is a bit warmer.

But your gender may sabotage the whole proceedings sir!

God no! Smashing Pumpkins are way better. Muse is alright but meh, because I am feeling extra articulate tonight.

Not sure what my favourite SP song is… I do love Siamese Dream and the track Dissarm is the only one I can play on the guitar and sing (badly).

I think after the album Adore they went downhill. Would have coincided with Darcy leaving the band. She rocked.

    The original line-up.

Thinking about it now, they were the band that pretty much defined my youth. Yay go pumpkin heads! 😛

Im in love with my dentist, he looks a bit like Super Man. I was mortified when he felt the need to show me how to floss.

…he really should be alive commenting on the state of the world today.

I agree with you completely, almost as if there is now a kind of void. If he was here today I imagine him saying “I told you so” quite alot, and commenting on how history is circular, and how it repeats itself.

As intense he was, changing perceptions and making people really think about the world we live in, he also in a way, give people hope.

“Hey – don’t worry, don’t be afraid, ever, because, this is just a ride…” – are the words that really made an impression on me.

Jools, he did have a drink problem, during that time the crowd and venue management would ply him with booze and watch him drink himself to a stupor. He eventually got over it, and when he came back sober he was better than ever.

Garry, indeed he was completely unorthodox, and as you say, on a different planet. Even if he was lacking in funny, much of his epic material is still relevant today, and many would say, even more so now than ever.

    Laughing @

Dave Sanborne but the Dixieland stuff makes my anvils bleed

I must admit, alot of the contemporary new wave stuff can be quite nauseating, but in general Jazz is bloody awesome. There is such a broad range of types of Jazz to be enjoyed – I truly believe there is something for everyone. From the classic Jazz genuises such as Charlie Parker or Coltrane to the real showstopping performers like Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald.

One of my favourite places in the world is the Jazz Bar in Edinburgh, which plays live music 7 days a week, what a gift.

OK, Ill do it, maybe get people to submit designs, choose the best, get it printed and then post a pic on the forum with me wearing it.

The best line on my dating profile reads: “…unless you are paying me to listen to your problems, I don’t want to know about your mommy/daddy issues, mental health disorders, how your ex f$cked you over or why you hate your job/boss/colleagues, etc.”

Me and my best friend did a recording on a tape player when we were 14. She played the piano and I sang. Our favourite track was Brian Adams – Everything I do. We rocked, clearly.

What about the preload bolt that should be on the outside of the crank?

    Surely that stops this happening?

I honestly don’t know at what point in the bike ride it came off! I was limping so I wasn’t exacly keen on going back the way I came.

    SaboteurCherie

surely you would of realised the axle slowly working its way out of the crank?

    No.

So did the crank sheer off or did it somehow come lose and just fall off?

    &

yeah, was it just the pinch bolts working loose? Schoolboy error…*

Not sure, just know about having hurty knees and bike bits breaking off whilst I was cycling. The bike repair folk should give me an insight soon enough.

Some good advice on there, as I am waiting on the bike repair shop to contact me re the crash check and how much the repair is going to be, and what my options are. Of course I know little about bikes, so I need all the help I can get.
