Noahs Ark in Stroud were real good when I took the other half to get a bike to go on the trails with. Spent loads of time with her and made her feel welcome.

and CRC and Superstar have been good with orders ive done recently.

Can you still enter on the day.
I was undecided to to enter this. Do three loops of the blue route most weekends.

But I have never done a race and I can see my self making a fool out of myself with all the racey people around.

Agreed if you only use your bike that much get a cheaper bike and go on holiday.

bit of a crime having such beautiful bike locked away and not used.

Also if your just doing local XC stuff have you not thought about getting a hard tail?

Got my GF a Hard Rock Disk Comp and she is happy with as pie with it. seems a nice enough bike and would recommend it from when ive had a little play on it. fork is a bit of a week point but always will be at this price point. and as you start to push yourself can always update at a later date.

I use Backcountry Navigator. you can cache all the OS and you can do GPS Tracking and export it as a GPX file. there is a demo version available so you can try it first and then its only 7 quid.

Dont understand why the OP is getting blamed. The bike shop shouldn’t of been rude and I’m sure if he said instead no I can’t match CRC but I can do it for X price most people would consider it as they have the support of the local bike shops if they need it.

Got to say most of the dogs I see in the forst with riders are amazing and have no problems with them at all. I do have a problem with people walking there dogs around the trails. Especially when your on a nice bit of singletrack go around the corner to see a walker on one side of the trail with a dog on the lead on the other and then give you a look of disgust when you have to slam on your brakes.

Because its what they feel comfortable in. Why does it matter what other people wear as long as they are out on there bike enjoying themselves good on them I say.

Videos are useless when im at work. streaming media is blocked as standard so cant catch up with whats going on when im on lunch or having a cheaky five minutes. Much rather just be able to read a article and be able to put it down and pick it up as I please.

If you like HSBC why not go first direct. even though there a internet bank they are Part of HSBC so can do over the counter stuff in your branch. Also find them really good on the phone. Just ring the number and you get straight through to a real person never normally even have to sit in a queue

The orange paint marks out the enduro course, but a lot of it has been destroyed with logging recently, but some can still be followed.

I’ve got gpx file if any use to you

    Cheers

    Thanks for that received fine

surely if you can still remotely connect to it you should be able to get the IP address of it which would give you a rough location or if the police could be bothered they can contact get the exact location from the ISP?

xc Trail at FODis open but ruined in some places from the logging and mudding but the family loop is fine but you may get pretty bored just doing gravel route. saying that ill be doing that a couple of times maybe a single XC loop in between
