I hate the word drizzled when refering to food!

I think its the thought of the chef shaking his hand vigorously over your food 😉

What, & not sit in front of a screen bashing away at their keyboards, chatting to strangers about their BMW’s & lunch?

Its a solution in search of a problem, its about money for big business not about ending hunger.

I am sure the millions of people around the world living in hunger and poverty will be keen to know what overblown penis extension you are planning on buying.

Lets hope you are daydreaming about giving the same amount or more to charity.

Can you give used lottery tickets to charity?

I think it goes something like this —

Driving to work this morning, my boss pulled out of a junction onto a dual carriageway. Suddenly a BMW came up to the side of her car and the woman driver started to give her abuse. It then pulled in front and braked heavily but without stopping.
The only reason that my boss could think of was that she might have pulled out on the BMW by mistake but didn’t think she had.
Whilst this was happening a police car had pulled out of the same turning behind my boss.
At the next set of lights my boss went to have a word with the woman BMW driver, not knowing the police were behind her, but it turned out the police had seen the whole incident.

The policeman asked my boss to get back in her car to take some details but BMW sped off. So the policeman went after the BMW instead.
The BMW then jumped some red lights, and the police car followed with the lights flashing etc. So my boss drove on her way, then she saw the BMW pulled over just along the road.

My boss had just finished telling us all this rather entertaining story when she gets a phone call from the police! It turns out the BMW driver had just run over a cyclist and not stopped.

    Any better?

Its a good try PP, are they both Female?

Or is one of them Lou Reed?

Or did your boss cause a chain of events that caused the other driver to hit a cyclist?

Bos: cuts up BMW driver as she pulls onto duel carriageway

BMW: upset by Bos, decides to brake hard to show he/she is pissed off -silly!

Bos: steps out of car to have a word with BMW – even more silly!

Police: spot silly drivers go to sort them out

BMW: spots police, & either has no licence/insurance/stole car/on drugs etc… does a runner & hits cyclist trying to avoid police?

Been driving a mk4 gt tdi for a while, but looking for something a bit more grrr.
There’s a 03 plate R32 at a local garage, 55k on the clock, tidy, just over £8k….but the catch is no service history. should i steer clear on that basis? wheels and tyres are new so i can’t really check easily to see how if it has been overly ragged or not.
obviously i’d expect a car of this nature to have been pushed in its life, but i have never bought a car without any service history before….

    wotchareckon?

    Back to the OP

Rexated – that’s low milage for a car of that age? It would be easy enought as mentioned here to check with VW as to its service record with them?

No records of service history and low milage, would ring alarm bells for me, has it had more than one owner, has someone pranged it & repaired it?

How much would a clean example with the same age/milage go for with a VW service history?

Hang on…………… why am I bothering!

I think Rexated has long gone 😉

middle lane hoggers are fat and they need the inside and outside lane space to generate air flow round their tubby mass to keep them cool – Fact!

No, I've never seen someone sit in the middle lane when there are no other cars around.

Seen this while driving at night, on an empty motorway, some numpty sat in the middle lane on a deserted motorway?

    Changing lanes is dangerous

You might just have hit the nail on the head

middle laners are scared of the big bad lorries in lane 1 and as for lane 3, well that's too fast!

That really all depends on the application.

Was thinking for HT use geetee1972, something to give me more confidence on decents, nothing too wild trail wise.

Been using a HT and mine runs at roughly 13' seated, but had a go on a Dale HT, sorry don't know which one it was, but the BB felt noticably lower, should have asked him which frame it was, are well 😉

How long is your piece of string?

We bought a house. Well shell. It had bare plaster walls throughout and no floor coverings (had been empty 50 years and half modernised by a speculator who subsequently needed the cash).

Ours is a two/three (if you include the loft room) bed end terrace. I estimate that we spent £5k on paint, carpets etc. We spent a great deal more on other stuff too though.

But whatever you do, prepare for some additional costs along the way – you are bound to uncover some surprises as you go.

As MF & TFM said, you won't know how bad the walls are until you strip it back, then when you have, you might find you want to put new sockets and switches in to finish it off, it all adds up.

One room at a time and do it to a high standard, otherwise you will end up with 2-3 roomes half finished and rush them, like I did 😉
