I was told that the Sony & Samsung use the same factory for their screens, electronics behind might be different mind.

Is it a road bike you are hacking up or mtb thepurist?

For road, I would start round 48:18 or 48:16, on a MTB, 42:16 a good place to start.

Its not a problem & as for sirens, we only hear the odd one if traffic is built up, most of the time they have them switched off.

I live next to a heli pad at our local hospital, we have maybe 2 helicopters fly low directly over our home a week if that!

They only seem to fly low over our place,if they need to, for a reason and I guess that reason is to save time/lives, so that’s fine with us.

Mostly at the weekend too, picking up born again bikers 😉

Our kids find it a buz racing out to the garden to feel the down draft & wave at the pilots, who wave back most times.

I have a fish (molly) called Bob, who rates the ride quality of VW’s as survivable. He prefers the softer handling as choppy water is a real pisser aparently.

Saying that my neighbours dog thinks they are overrated & the best thing you can do with a VW is cock your leg against one!

cynic-al has the long term answer if its a serious problem. Do you have a really big rear disc or something as this isn’t something I’ve come across (though I do use XT skewers…)

    Using, Avid Juicy 3’s

Runs off to hide in the corner before the pisstakers come……… 😉

Ditch the tug on the disc side, it won’t grip the frame as well as the QR nut will.

Thanks for the idea MB, already tried that ;-), still pulling out with or without the tug in place.

How easy is it to get a new axle with nuts?

I can see you have Planet X skewers, are they steel or another metal? I’d probably try another skewer as a cheap fix to rule out that first.

The pic was a sample image pulled off the web, but weirdly I am using planet x qr. 😉

Will try another set of qr, thought about roughing up the paint a bit to see if the qr nut might grip a bit better too?

Yep using tugs both sides wwaswas, the wheel is moving back not forward & only on the disk side?

It has a gps data tag imbedded into the plastic, which sends you location to dog/stick owners who then can plot the best route to get in your way!

and take the Amazon packaging with you to the recycling depot while you’re at it.

    14mph sounds quite decent!

Do you have many red lights/city traffic/hills on your commute?

Used to avg 16mph on a cx bike over my 8 mile city commute, never timed it on my mtb, but guessing no where near 14mph.

I have preordered with two local stores, well its cost me nothing, 1st to call gets my cash.

Saying that, sometimes its worth waiting to see what deals the supermarkets are doing on the launch day?

I do wonder if drivers give less space to cyclist that look as if they know what they are doing (waring high-vis, cycle gear etc) than casual cyclist?

    Only B for me.

In the last 8 years of daily commuting, been clipped only once by a car passing too close on a fast left bend, pushed me into the verge, driver did not stop.

I think for me anyway, B is more common out of the two options ( cars pulling in too quickly) I seem to have to avoid more often.

molgrips – where are you going with this poll?
