    Hi,

Don't know if this helps but these look like the original ones. Price seems ok and i guess if you are already in france yu may get it quicker.

Just fitted the SLX HT2 cranks om my bike, supplied bottom bracket is classed as SLX/XT they run so much better thatn my HT1 octalink cranks i had previously and by the looks of it future servicing should be easier. i'd say if you have the money for them the go for it.

    mboy may have a point!

I have a pair of v12's and recently bought a pair of mag12's for my second bike because i like them so much. I haven't tried many other pedals as i simply have not found the need.

    Hi pixelmix,

I'm sure you will get a Thule roof rack for the new Scirocco, i have seen one on a car up here in Aberdeen. I have a polo, which doesn't have rain gutters or mounting points similar to the new Scirocco and have a Thule roof rack fitted to my car.

My choice would be the Scirocco out of thoes cars think the new ones are really nice,

    cheers and happy shopping

You should be able to source some repacement bearings for it if you are worried about removing and replacing the whole headset i googled the bearing number for the bearings in my fsa one and found bearings for less than a tenner.

    Good luck

    To kaesae and foxyrider

Thank you for your help and advice it is very much appreciated. I'm most of the way there now, just need to borrow some tools from work to knock the axel out and something to re-seat that internal bearing.

    Thanks again

Can i also suggest when you inspect your bike for damage you remove your stem and check the fork steerer for damage since you think it was a impact on the front of the bike. Then go through everything wwaswas put in his first post.

By far from a cider connoisseur, however the most potent and pleasurable stuff I can find in Aberdeen is Addlestons cloudy cider, it is claimed to be still fermenting in the cask when delivered to the pub. General thought is the darker the pint the stronger it is, and when it starts at close to 6% it can get pretty strong stuff indeed.

I used 2 oil filled rads in my flat (bedroom and lounge) while saving to get a new central heating system fitted. The mate i borrowed them from uses them to heat his garage and workshop.

They worked really well for me i found digital 7 day timers online and connected them through them so it would turn on and off in the moring and evening but if you do this check the ratings of the timer so that you are not going to overload it with the rad.

So the flat is now much warmer with full central heating but they did the job well for what they were.

So tinker-belle what is the latest on this? I have missed reading all the comments. Are you taking your friend on the STW ride organised by C_G or have the comments sent you running to the hills in shame?

I got charged £1.07 (7p dfference from small to large letter + £1 fine)and had to drive 4 miles to the depo to collect a letter from my mum. This was in a A5 envelope and had the grand sum of 2 birthday cards in it neither of which weighed much. I complained as it was a small letter not a large letter but they wouldn't give me it till i paid. I knew one had cash in it from my gran so had to pay the scumbags to get my birthday present.

In regards to Arcam stuff, I picked up an Arcam alpha 5 amp and a cd player for my sis from eBay think it was about £250 for them both. Sound awesome and Arcam support is legendary. I have put first dibbs on them if they ever want rid I was that impressed by the sound.

    confused

basically if i want to add a new socket into the current socket ring i really need to get a sparky to do it for me. but if i just want to move it i can do that myself. Or do you think a degree in Electronic and electrical endineering would class me as a qualified person for the part p thing? who do you have to inform of these changes? what proof do they get sent?

I was more thinking along the lines of a Haynes type manual or a readers digest guide to electrical wiring rather than an industry standard book of regulations.

What have people got at home that they refer to.

Sounds like a perfect excuse to buy a big old estate car, thus providing shelter and transport. Try and get something with a full service history and recent MOT. You could also use the car to learn a little about how they work for when you can afford a better one.

    Good luck

Can i ask why you wouldn't just use a big tin of yacht varnish, thin down the first 2 coats then another 2 at full strength and completly seal it?

Please excuse my ignorance on this matter

It'll also be worth getting in contact with the leasing agents and lodging a complaint with them. they also may be able to tell you who the owner is.
