If you really want cheeap, you can build your own from the guide in Roger Munson’s Wheel Pro guide, it doesn’t look that difficult. I plan on doing this the next good day i get at a weekend. You can get the plastic and metal from ebay if you don’t want to pester a machine shop and sing makers.

    +1 5lab and longwayhome

this is what i do and it has always worked.
If this is not working then get a clean blank white bit of paper and place it on the floor so you can see it throught the caliper and line it up by eye(note this way is way more faf).

    Good luck

I got a Onkyo all in one system with tannoy mk1 custom speakers 2-3 years ago from superfi, John lewis had the same one but with standard speakers for the same price £300 ish (my mum ended up buying that one as she like mine so munch).

I love mine, it got really good reviews when it came out and it sounds great to me. I do not have a spereates system to compare it to but am very happy with what i have.

As with all systems especially all in one there are short commings of different types with each brand/model go out and try some and see what you like the sound of.

    good luck

Shop arround, my girlfriend just had her line reconnected by SKY when she signed up to sky tv, broadband and phone. She pays £30 in total/month for all three and reconnection was £60 i think.

I did a similar thing to you where i re-wired the master socket so it was in a better place with more discreet wiring. You are not ment to do this as it is BT’s property but what they don’t know can’t hurt them and everything works perfectly now so all is good.

I am going to take a guess at the new cassette has now made the chain to short making the drivetrain tight. As i said it is a guess, but it is easy to check. Put the bike into a middle gear front and back and see if you still have the problem then try and shift up into the bigger rings, if your problem comes back the chain is too short.

Good effort, congratulations. The same day i asked about what questions to ask at an interview and have been asked back for a second interview next week, hopefully i’ll be as lucky as you.

I have 3 sets of Juicy brakes and have had the same problem as you once before.

I found there was a small amout of air trapped at the far side of the brake caliper, when doing the first part of the bleed, really push and pull on the saringe for a good couple of minutes, there is air in there somewhere and you need to get it out.

Tapping on the claiper with the handle of a screwdiver can help to move the bubbles.

Making sure the bottom saringe has no air in it proir to the bleed is essential.

Good news is when you get the air out the break will be great again.

    Good luck.

From the looks of you other components this may not bother you but the cheepest place i have found for spokes is rose bikes

    http://www.rosebikes.co.uk/products/tech/spokes-and-nipples/

£8.90 for 20 dt swiss competition spokes would be my plan giving 4 spare/side incase i messed something up or broke/damaged a spoke somewhere down the line.

Good luck with your wheel build

From a Scottish perspective that was pitiful. An absolutely terrible game, i really hope it gives them the kick up the @ss they so desperately need after that performance.

you may want to have a look at this thread

    http://www.singletrackworld.com/forum/topic/lumicycle-halogen-led-kit-vote

i just rebuilt my lumicycle light with the re-designed heatsink led package, this uses XPE or XPG Led’s. My lights seem fantastically bright so may be an upgrade over your previous mod.

Congratulations on ruining a beautiful frame.

It could possibly be sorted by fixing the front end, the lefty’s are all kinds of wrong.

you can swap the internals, you get different axles for different sized fittings, i.e 12mm axel for maxle, 10mm for bolt up, 9mm for QR.

Another option would be upgrade your current light! See thread below.

    http://www.singletrackworld.com/forum/topic/lumicycle-halogen-led-kit-vote

Depending on how handy you are the conversion is pretty strait forward. It costs about £35/ lamp unit to upgrade them so if your battery is still good and charger works fine it is probably the cheapest way to breathe new life into your old system.

Can you get a torx key that is slightly larger than the hex key? if so smack that in the rounded head and undo the bolt. I have done this on various bolts in the past and it works a treat.

damo2567 surly less quantity of packing = less cost also

Maybe there is a packer who does not know the difference between mm and cm

here is another place doing the magic shine lights http://www.roughrideguide.co.uk/Magic-Shine-Front-Bike-Light.html

for £112 you could get a light charger and 2 batteries so you can have a spare fully charged for the event.

You could try contacting Smudget at mtbbatteries he may be able to help you out for a charger, search on here for deal extream lights, spokeshirt, spoke bloke and you could find yourself a new light for less than £100

T1000 For your tapered forks on the iron horse did you use this head set 44IETS-DC. I am presuming the lower cup was the one that required modification?

Which frame did you use the headset in? I am going to be looking at doing this to a Mk III

    Cheers

I can’t comment on the capabilities for a 3 bed as myself and my girlfriend only have 1 bed places but i have a Worcester Bosh and she has an all sing all dancing BAXI, both boilers are good and do a fine job of heating our flats however hers has a seperate temperature control for the hot water which is very usefull as it helps prevent getting scalding hot water fromthe taps and her thermostat/control unit is wireless which makes it a doddle to install where ever you want it.

Any chance you can email me with the best number to contact merlin on – email is in profile. I’m a little concerned about my order as i think parcel force may have lost it.

I ordered them last week and got the additional 10% too :-) , i really thought it said it included the 6 bolt adapter then as well. I guess you have asked?

It is still a good deal without the adapter but it will just be a bit of a pain to souce that bit.

Peter was this what you bought?

I have them on order but they heve not arrived yet  . It says they come with the 6 bolt adapter, does this mean that the adapter is not included?

My thoughts would be you should take it back to where you bought it, if the clutch is just slipping then you will be fine for that distance, i nursed a slipping clutch on my polo for 5 months(6000 miles). I’d be suprised if the dealer goes for fix it where you are as it seems driveable with care at the moment.

If you do not feel comfortable driving it take out AA or RAC cover that has onward travel/ transport to a garage of your choosing and do it that way.

Personally i would chalk this issue up to experiance and try and be better prepared in future if buying a car from a fair distance away. Depending on the price of the car i would concider the likes of a AA/RAC inspection prior to purchase so you can be better informed they are only £100.

I know what i have said is probably not what you want to hear and it does not take into concideration the loss of time you will incur but it is the fairest way for the garage to may right it’s mistake.
