Putting a bike in the car and driving to hospital with a dislocated thumb isn't something i'm keen to repeat. Or having it pulled back into place by a doctor and a nurse 6 hours later.

Yesterdays non biking activity, built this in the back garden. Back aches now.

Career ending broken wrist, broke end off ulna, radius smashed to bits, bone graft from hip, external fixator for a few months, 9 months off work – change of career.
Broke the other elbow at the same time for good measure. Started mountainbiking again after this as it seemed safer than bmxing 😕

I made a comeback today! First proper days bricklaying for about 6 years since injury. Ooooo me back's gonna hurt tomorrow.

Could be worth trying to contact Cinnamon Girl as she has routes mapped all over the place in your surrounding area. My parents place is 15 minutes west of Newbury, so i'm up there pretty often.
